Swagbucks has really helped Brittany through tough financial times! It is a great way to supplement a tight monthly budget during the holidays. Brittany uses Swagbucks for just that reason and I want to share her story with you all.
If there is one thing I love more than Disney, it’s Harry Potter. Sorry Mickey, but Harry was there for me long before I met you. Sure, I grew up watching Disney movies like the Lion King and 101 Dalmatians, but hadn’t experienced the magic that was Disney. We didn’t have the money to go to Disney World growing up. It wasn’t until I was an adult when my brother surprised my mother and I with a trip for Christmas.
I joined Swagbucks when I found out I could get Amazon cards to fund my addiction. Working at Amazon, I already got a 10% discount so this just made it even better. I mostly just do ncrave and countdowns when available, with the occasional survey whenever I have the time. I will sometimes do some free trials, but I usually avoid them since I’m rather forgetful.
Last September, the guy that was living with us at the time had a stroke. It happened a week after we got back from Disney, so money was already tight. My mom wasn’t working at the time, but now she had to take care of him 24/7 so she couldn’t go out and get a job. I have a decent paying job, but it was still rough being right at Christmas. But thanks to Swagbucks, I was able to get Christmas for everybody with no money out of pocket.
My favorite find was for my 4-year-old niece. She likes to steal all of the wash cloths in the house to put her stuffed animals “night night”. She’s also completely obsessed with Goofy, so I looked everywhere while I was at Disney for a baby Goofy that came wrapped in a blanket, without much luck. I was even told by a cast member that they don’t believe it even exists. Well it pays to look online. I was able to find a seller on Amazon, so with my Swagbucks gift cards, I was able to get my niece a baby Goofy that she still carries around to this day. And that right there makes the sometimes slow earning totally worth it!
