I just uploaded the pictures and videos off the video camera and thought I would share. Total wait……….10 minutes! ;) I tell ya. All you gotta do is know the best time to be somewhere and be there.

You did great with all your research. I live here in Florida – and personally avoid Disney during the summer months (too hot and too many people) but I have that ability since its only 2 hour drive for us.. If anyone can go during September (we usually do Labor day weekend) – there is almost no wait and also the hotels are SUPER DUPER Cheap at that time.. it’s a slow month as all schools are headed back..

That is awesome animation! Buzz and Woody look real!

Your kiddos are so cute! That’s one of my favorite character meets. My daughter wouldn’t let go of Buzz & Woody. We got there 10 mins before they were scheduled to arrive and had a really short wait…under 20 minutes if I recall correctly. We were pretty lucky last time we went to WDW too…most of the character waits were pretty short.

How do you get waits that short? my last trip to Disney My sister and her kids came along on their first trip so we did all the carachter meet and greet and that’s about all we did, Pooh was a 30+min wait and Mickey even longer and it just went dwn from there, we are going back to disney this friday and my DD (2) will go on her first real disney trip so we will be doing lot of meet n greet and I need lots of help how to get thru them quickly…

Yeah, you are back. I think all your research paid off. Wow, 10 min. wait that is nothing at Disney.
Christina says
How wonderful that it was such a short wait! I’m hoping to do some research and have some luck so we aren’t faced with super long character lines when we go.

There are forums out there that only discuss Disney. In these forums, you can get good ideas and plans of when/where the characters will be out. http://www.allears.net

Kristin from Couponing to Disney says
First you have to know the best days to go to which parks (check out the crowd calendar on http://www.touringplans.com), then you have to know the best times of the day to ride which rides. For this meet and greet, it opens at 9:30 am but the sign in front of it said 10 am. But I knew that it opened at 9:30 and there were only 5 people in the entire line waiting for it to open. ;)

How cute! This weekend my 2 year-old told my husband that he was Woody from Toy Story and that I was the cowgirl. I always forget her name…..

I just love how Disney does this now…our kids generations just don’t know what it was like to have to “hope” to see a character and maybe get a picture or autograph. Now they have it so set up and inside with Air Conditioning! Who can’t be patient with that?! So glad you all had a good time! We leave for Disney in 1 week! Staying at Bay Lake Tower (our first time!)

How do we know what the best times are? Do you have any suggestions for this. We will be leaving on Friday for Disney!! I have a 6, 3 and a 1 year old. Please help!!

My 3 year old son LOVES Woody!!! Although when we went back in December, he was so bashful, he dropped to the ground and hid his face when it was his turn to meet them.
brenda says
oh would my 4 YO freak. he is currently wearing his Buzz Light Year tshirt, with his Buzz lightyear underpants and socks and his buzz light year hat and sunglasses…can we say obsessed!??

I wish we had you luck when it comes to waiting for characters. We’re just getting to the point where my little one recognizes the characters and I know she will want to have her picture taken with them. So far our waits haven’t been too bad, the worst was Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party when I think we waited 20 minutes (15 waiting for it to open). But that was my doing!
