These DIY Candy Cane Place Card Holders are perfect for name cards for a dinner party or if you are serving dinner buffet style, you can print the name of the dish on a piece of paper and use these to mark the food (because let’s face it… some casseroles look the same as others and we are left wondering what we’re scooping out onto our plates). There are actually 3 candy canes in this picture, although you can’t really see the 3rd one. If you look at the bottom of the “Candy Cane Holder”, you can see the reflection of the 3rd one on the table. These are regular sized candy canes and, using my husband as a second set of hands, I tied 3 together with thin red ribbon. Then you can maneuver them to get them to stand up. If you don’t have a second set of hands or just want an easier way to do this yourself, you can also glue them together. When your guests are finished eating, they can take the candy canes home to enjoy later!

You have such cute ideas. I love going through your blog. I use DT items a lot for my crafts! The little stocking utensil holder is adorable. The initial ornament with the press on pearl initial is chic and elegant – a beautiful gift for anyone! Thanks for sharing!
Love this, thanks. We have a huge party on Christmas Eve for my husband’s family and this will be great for my different varieties of foods.
Glad you like it :)
