Jentry is getting ready to undergo a lip surgery next week. She is just 7 years old and brand new to her forever family. Her mom would love it if we could send cards to Jentry so she will have something to occupy her hands and thoughts as she awaits the doctors to take her back for surgery. The cutie in this photo is having her lip repaired next Thursday. Every experience she has had with doctors in her previous life in an orphanage has been extremely negative and for that reason she HATES doctors. She’s the first surgery of the day but still has to wait at the hospital 3 hours….soooo, if you are inclined to do such things, I would love to be able to open cards with her during those three hours to occupy her mind and hands.
She has to go to the doctor often and still cries like her heart is breaking each time. I’m hoping opening cards will occupy her mind and hands. She’s 7, but because of early childhood malnutrition is the size of a 5 year old, and since she has only been with us for 102 days it’s hard to explain to her, in a way she fully understands, why she needs surgery.
