Day 26 of Everyday at Disney was spent at Epcot in the evening. Our main goal was to see Illuminations. We got to the park right at 5 pm and were surprised at how empty the parking lot was. When we entered the park, we noticed Spaceship Earth was walk on! Since it is the first attraction people see when they enter the park, it is usually crowded by this time in the afternoon. I knew when I saw that that we were in for a real treat.
We headed back to Soarin’ to use our Fastpass+. The wait was only 30 minutes in the regular queue! We got to ride with a group of 13 people who had to native to Africa because they started hooting and hollering when the Africa scene came up in Soarin’. I found them to be highly entertaining.
Since the crowds were so low and my friends that we met up with had not ridden Frozen Ever After yet, we decided to wait together. The posted wait time was 45 minutes (it dropped from 60 as we walked from Soarin’) and we actually ended up waiting 33 minutes! The ride was great and I was able to spot a few things we had not seen before.
Next it was time for our dinner reservation at Rose and Crown in the United Kingdom. If you aren’t on the dining plan, the Rose and Crown is an incredible value. I ordered the Bangers & Mash and it was $19. My friend’s Fish & Chips was $21.
We were seated on the outdoor patio right along the World Showcase Lagoon. We asked our waitress if it would be okay to wait on the fireworks and she said it wouldn’t be a problem. So we decided to indulge in an appetizer, entree and dessert. We lingered over the meal and enjoyed each other’s company.
The view for the fireworks was fabulous! We had front row viewing and could see most of the show without any issue. If you are considering dining at Rose & Crown, do it!
We decided to time her journey to her room at Animal Kingdom Lodge verses my drive to my house. She beat me by just 8 minutes. Would have been less if people knew how to drive the speed limit… but that is a whole ‘nother story!

Day 25 of Everyday at Disney was spent at Hollywood Studios. We arrived just before the park opened and headed straight to Toy Story Mania. I changed the way I hold the gun (between my fingers instead of in my palm) and I increased my score by almost 30k points! My grand total was 211k. I finally beat my husband’s high score!
After Toy Story Mania we met Pluto, Doc McStuffins and Jake there in front of the Disney Junior show. We also went into Launch Bay to trade with the Jawas. It was so fun! We ended up with a Droid body which we added to the Droid head we got last time.
Emily met up with my friend Kari and they went off to do Rock ‘N Roller Coaster (it was a 20 minute wait at 10 AM!) while we went to Star Tours (Jacob’s favorite). Afterwards we went on Toy Story Mania with our Fastpass so I could practice again at increasing my score.

Day 24 of Everyday at Disney was spent at Epcot. We got to the park just before it opened but we were in the back of the queue line at the turnstiles. Luckily we weren’t going to any of the attractions that draw the crowds.
Our first stop was Mission Space. Molly Kate loves to play in Space Base (the playground at the exit). She plays there until her siblings come and join after they get off the ride. Next stop was Test Track for the big kids while Molly Kate played in the ride vehicle on the side (it is for Guests can practice transferring into the Test Track ride vehicle before they go to the actual ride). She also loves playing with the racing cars at the exit to Test Track.
The kids were able to go again with my friend so Molly Kate and I enjoyed a show by the Jammitors before we called it a day at the park. We didn’t do much, but we had a blast!
Here’s what I find interesting. It took my friend 1 hour 15 minutes to get from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Epcot due to a bus issue. It took me 45 minutes to get from my front door to Epcot. Craziness!

Day 23 of Everyday at Disney was spent at the Magic Kingdom. We spent the morning with our friends and then met up with them again at the Magic Kingdom. The wind was strong due to the previous day’s storm which caused the ferry and other boats to be closed for the day. This was the first time we have seen the ferry closed. Usually it is the Monorail! They were also running buses to the Magic Kingdom.
We arrived at the park at 3:15 PM. The Festival of Fantasy parade runs from Frontierland to Main Street so we grabbed a front row seat to the parade. It was fabulous!
Next we used our Fastpasses to ride Space Mountain and meet Rapunzel and Tiana. Then we went to The Little Mermaid. We waited 20 minutes in the regular queue and boarded the ride just to have it break down the minute it started. The whole ride had to be evacuated! Since our clam was behind our children but we were still technically in the loading area, we were allowed off the ride. However the children had to wait on almost every other clam in the ride to be evacuated before they were let off. Luckily they enjoyed the experience.
We were each given a Fastpass for any Magic Kingdom attraction except Seven Dwarfs or Peter Pan’s Flight. We decided to use it on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which was so much fun! It was my first time riding it since last summer before it went under refurbishment. After that, we headed on out of the park and made our way back home (had great traffic on I4!).

Day 21 of Everyday at Disney was spent at Hollywood Studios. This was the first time that I have been here with my husband in a while so I was excited to ride Toy Story Mania with him and see if I could beat his score. Well I couldn’t. He is still the champ. But I have beaten the score he got today (186k) in the past.
After we finished with Toy Story Mania and a trip to the bathroom and waiting for Emily and my nephew to get off (they got separated in the mad dash at rope drop) it was already almost 9:40. We dropped into the Disney Junior show while they went off to ride Rock ‘N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror (which had a major issue with the line but I will cover that in a minute). We then went into Disney Studio Store so Molly Kate could color.
Finally Jacob and I went on Toy Story Mania with our Fastpass and I scored 166k. Molly Kate decided to stand up during the ride! Luckily it was during one of the games but she hasn’t done that before. Joy. Then it was time to head to I4 which was a parking lot today. We’ve had pretty good luck so far but today it was twice as long to get home.

We headed to Animal Kingdom at 1 pm today for a couple hours. The crowds were extremely low and the wait times were crazy short! It was 20 minutes for Expedition Everest, 10 minutes for Dinosaur and 10 min for Primeval Whirl.
We were able to ride Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl and Expedition Everest within 1.5 hours. We also grabbed a snack at Restaurantosaurus before heading out. It was quite warm (80 degrees and no clouds in the sky). It was so much fun!

My sweet baby has not been feeling well. She is on the mend today but I am not going to take her to Disney World when she is sick. Luckily her grandmother lives close by and came over so the big kids and I could go.
We got to Hollywood Studios about 12:15 and it was not crowded at all! We were able to find a great viewing spot for A Galaxy Far, Far Away before heading over to see Beauty and the Beast. Emily is obsessed with all things Beauty and the Beast since the new movie is coming out soon. Finally it was time for Rock ‘N Roller Coaster (single rider line for Emily) and Toy Story Mania. They both only had a 25 minute wait! Such great, great crowds.
We were able to see March of the First Order on our way out. We fell in line behind the Stormtroopers and it felt like we were in a parade!

It was 83 degrees this afternoon which made it a perfect day to venture to Blizzard Beach (Typhoon Lagoon is closed until March). We left the house at 2:15 and pulled into the parking lot at 2:50. There were about 100 cars and that was it! Very, very low crowds.
I took the baby to play at Tikes Peak while the big kids went to ride some slides. Emily’s favorite is the racing slides where she can compete against other Guests to see who slides the fastest. Jacob loves Runoff Rapids, a water coaster.

Disney Springs was very crowded. The weekends draw the locals in so be prepared! We parked in the Orange garage since it is closer to the theater. We ended up on the top deck which offers some great views. The Character in Flight balloon has a new design.
The kids have been begging to see Moana and we finally had our chance today. We got there 5 minutes before it started and had to sit on the front row (ew!) but the kids didn’t complain. The theater was very comfortable and the audience was hilarious.
The movie was cute. It wasn’t the best Disney movie I have seen (Tangled comes to mind) but it was well done and entertaining.
