Wondering what a solo trip to Disney World costs? Today, I am going to break down the price and tell you exactly what I spent! The 4 price categories are my Disney Resort Package cost, Airfare cost, Food cost and souvenirs cost. As you can see from the pie chart above, the Disney Resort package is the bulk of the expense.
The grand total for my solo trip was: $1719.09. However, this is not what I paid out of pocket, learn how I earned enough to pay for my Resort Package & Airfare FREE!
1. Disney Resort Package Cost
The total cost for my Disney Resort Package was $1039.68. This included a 5 day/ 4 night stay at Disney’s All Star Movies Resort, with 3-Day Park Hopper tickets. As previously mentioned, learn how I earned this entire amount FREE!
2. Airfare Cost
I flew with Southwest, both early morning flights for this trip. Both of my flights were direct, no stops. Cost for round trip airfare was $329.96.
3. Food Cost
For my solo trip I spent $154.53 on food & drinks (price includes Tax). This breaks down to: $38.63 per day. This price also includes a Resort Refillable Mug, at $19.99 + tax. For me, the price was worth it. I drank a coffee in the morning, a soda in the afternoon and hot chocolate in the evening at the Resort. Learn more about what I tried.
4. Souvenirs
Since I was on a solo trip, I wanted to make sure I brought my children home some great souvenirs. Therefore, I spent more than normal on souvenirs for a total of $194.92. My biggest purchase was a hooded sweatshirt for my oldest daughter at $49.99, she also received a necklace for $19.99. My youngest got a Dumbo baby plush for $29.99 and a surprise Wishables for $9.99. Also on my list to shop was my husband ($34.99 t-shirt), our Dog ($12.00 Pluto ID tag), a friend ($7.99 Pen) and a couple of family members.
Thanks, Sara!
