Welcome to Black Friday week! I guess there is also a holiday in here somewhere about being thankful for what we have, but it kind of gets lost sometimes in the shuffle of sales.
So let me start out by wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope, you have had many reasons to be thankful in this incredibly odd and difficult year. We are thankful to have not been sick and thankful that our close friends and family have been healthy- or have come through illness safely. I am planning our Thanksgiving meal today- it’s going to be just the three of us, so we’ll have to scale back the usual preparations, but I’m thankful to have food on the table and the three of us together.
Black Friday sales abound! Perhaps, like me, you’ve been doing some online shopping beforehand! I purchased some adorable nightgowns for my daughter- Disney themed of course, from Target. I paid $19.99. Guess what is part of Target’s Black Friday sale? Those same nightgowns…for $12.00. The toddler versions are $10! Thankfully, Target price matches their receipts for 14 days- and during Black Friday, they will match prices through Christmas!
Check out this nifty little bit from their policy: For Black Friday deal purchases made between November 1 – 28, 2020 you’ll qualify for a price adjustment if the Target store or Target.com price goes down any time on or before December 24, 2020.
This means I’ll save $14- or the price of an entire nightgown plus a few dollars leftover! Not bad for a quick phone call or trip to Target. So this holiday season, as you buy, keep an eye on prices. You never know where you’ll save a few bucks!
