I did it I finally did it! This is day 13 of me sticking to my Swagbucks schedule. It is hard getting back into a routine. But after you do so you feel like it’s raining Disney money and you feel a little silly for not doing it sooner. As normal the deals are starting to pick up big time. Even if you don’t do Swagbucks normally this is a time of the year you want to make time for it. The last few months of the year are consistently some of the most lucrative times to work the Couponing To Disney plan.
TIP:
One of the biggest complaints I hear from my fellow SB user’s is that it takes to much time for to little money. Which is true some days? But then there are those days you feel like you hit a jackpot. Those days make all the low earner days worth it. If you wouldn’t be consistent with SB than you probably wouldn’t have those big earner days. Over the years I have came up with a strategy to figure out if SB is really a waste of time or not. Below is my formula to figure out how much you actually make per hour from Swagbucks using my numbers from the past 30 days.
- Take your hours spent working on Swagbucks (for me that is an average of 30 minutes a day).
- Multiple your time spent daily on Swagbucks by 30 days.
- Go to your activity, change the date range to last 30 days, and figure out how much you have earned in those 30 days.
- Divide the amount of money you earned by the time spent on Swagbucks. That number is your hourly working rate on Swagbucks.
30 minutes a day x 7 days = 210 minutes or 3.5 hours a week
14 hours working on Swagbucks monthly
22,364 SB ($223.64) earned in the past 30 days
$223.64 money earned/14 hours = $15.97 per hour
Every month that number will change. Just because I am a nerd and like to see my time investment is worth it. I calculate my hourly rate every month. Then I track it on a spreadsheet. Not every month is this good. The lowest has been $5.75 and the highest has been $31.00 per hour. Even on the low months I am happy with the amount I earn. It is the only way I can earn extra money consistently in between doing all the mom, life, and work things!
10/2 –10/16 I am dividing my earnings between my Christmas fund and Disney fund!
Swagbucks – $185.03
Ibotta – $67.21
Checkout 51 – $27.75
Total: $279.99/2 = $139.99 (Half for my Christmas fund and half for my Disney fun!)
Total Earned To Date: $1,144.90
