My husband took Jacob to Magic Kingdom on the 29th day of Everyday at Disney. I stayed at home with Emily who had a touch of food poisoning. Surprisingly, I was able to get them a last minute Fastpass+ to Seven Dwarfs. This very rarely happens!
They left here about 1 PM to head over to the Magic Kingdom. The crowds were low due to the bitter cold and rainy weather. They headed straight back to use their Fastpass+ for Seven Dwarfs and then headed over to Big Thunder which only had a 25 minute wait (it was actually 22 minutes). They got in the very last row which is definitely the wildest ride in the wilderness!
Next they headed over to Pirates (15 min wait; they waited 12) and then it was time to redeem their Fastpass for Space Mountain. They concluded their time by viewing the parade from in front of Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (arrived 5 minutes before it reached them) and then they shared a Plaza Ice Cream Sundae. Yum!
They had a great time just the two of them and luckily Emily is feeling much better!
Tidbits
- Don’t give up on that last minute Fastpass+ or Dining Reservation – We have had great luck getting these last minute. Just keep checking!
- Don’t be scared of the weather – Bundle up, put on a poncho and go! So many people are reluctant to get out in the nasty weather making the crowds low!
- Play a game in line – The kids love the game Heads Up and they have a Disney Parks category! So fun to play in the line.
