Day 31 of Everyday at Disney was spent at Disney Springs. Our rule for the challenge is to spend exactly 1 hour on Disney property each day. It was an extremely challenging day for me (everything seemed to go wrong) and so we fully engaged our rule. The minute we went under the arch we started the timer. We pulled out of the parking garage with 7 seconds to spare!
We spent our hour at Disney Springs. Half of the hour was spent talking with Allison from Destinations in Florida about business and life. We had parked near her so that we could exchange our belated Christmas gifts. It was definitely uplifting to spend a little time talking with great friends.
We then headed to Disney Springs. There was more live music happening right in front of the Orange Garage entrance. I am surprised at the variety of live music offered in the evenings.
We went to the new Planet Hollywood and checked out their gift shop. The whole restaurant is themed as a former star observatory and it extended to the theming throughout the gift shop. They had a large selection of Planet Hollywood themed merchandise and most of it also featured stars, constellations or other space related items.
We then went across the walkway to The Coca Cola Store. One of my best friends LOVES Coca Cola and I still needed to get her Christmas gift. When we got to the register they offered us these surprise bags for $1.99 and $3.99. I bought both. I haven’t decided if I am going to open them or let her. But either way, such a fun surprise!
After that we headed back out of Disney Springs. We did it! It was a challenging day but I was NOT going to let the challenge fall apart just because I was overwhelmed at the day’s events.
