You may have already heard how fabulous a Disney Cruise is. Well, today I have more reasons with, 7 reasons you will look forward to dinner on a Disney Cruise.
Same Server Throughout
Did you know your waitstaff will follow you to each sit down restaurant? This means you have the same server throughout your stay. The benefits of this include personalized service, as your server learns your preferences. They will also be mindful of allergies or food sensitivities. Besides remembering your name, your server also will remember details such as your favorite drink order!
Disney Theming
As Disney fans know, Disney has over the top theming and a Disney Cruise dining room is no exception. The Animator’s Palate is found on all Disney Cruise ships, offering guests a conversation with Crush and more animation fun. At Tiana’s Place (Disney Wonder), guests will find a restaurant themed around Southern Charm. Rapunzel’s Royal Table (Disney Wonder) brings live musical performances before guests. Each Disney Cruise ship offers its own unique dining experience to look forward to.
3-Course Meal
Guests are treated to a 3-course dinner which includes an appetizer (hot or cold), entrée and a dessert. Even better, in the family dining rooms, nothing on the menu is off limits. Order as you please since there is no up-charge for even the most expensive items. This is a chance to try foods you may normally not have easy access to, such as the delicious Wild Alaska Salmon.
Rotational Dining
Upon boarding, guests will find their restaurant schedule, based on the Rotational Dining system. Rotational Dining allows guests a new dining experience each night, from one of the 3 family dining rooms. If you cruise longer than 3 evenings, you will revisit the same dining room however, it will have a new menu to look over.
Kid-Friendly
It is no surprise a Disney Cruise Family Dining room would be kid friendly. This includes kids menus offered at each of the 3 dining rooms. Children may even witness a magic trick or 2 while dining. Plus, in true Disney fashion look for dashes of pixie dust. Parents will be able to dine and relax for dinner.
Room Service For Dinner
Want a quiet, intimate dinner? Consider, ordering room service for dinner. Room service is available 24 hours a day (ending at 1:30am on last day of cruise), for snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend trying room service at least once, because how fun is it to say your ordering room service?! Even better, this service is included in the price of your Disney cruise, however do consider leaving a tip to deliverer.
Not Cooking
I must admit sometimes the thought of cooking dinner can be draining, therefore on a vacation I look forward to not having to cook at all! Sometimes, it is just nice to enjoy a meal you didn’t have to cook (or clean up after), enjoy this luxury.

Missing a few important ones:
● you not only get a 3 course meal, you can order as many dishes of any course that you want. Can’t decide between 2 appetizers? Get them both. Same goes for main courses or desserts. Lobster night is great, we get 2-3 lobster tails with our dinner, sometimes more! All included & no limits!!!
● Kids just want pizza but it isn’t on the menu? Doesn’t matter, they’ll bring it. Even a peanut butter & jelly sandwich.
● Buy a bottle of wine with dinner & the server will cork the leftovers & serve it the next night.
