Our neighborhood’s yard sale was this past weekend and we found a ton of stuff to put in it! We ended up making $391.50. Which was way more than I had expected to make. Unfortunately we didn’t sell our entertainment center from the bedroom so if you want to buy it, let me know. Local pickup only. ;)
$391.50 made at our Yard Sale
$9.96 left from last week’s Grocery Budget
$401.46 added to the Disney fund this week! $2584.42 saved since November 12th, 2011 (see past deposits here). Our goal is $3,700. Going the end of January 2013 (see our pending budget here).
I want you to learn how to grow your own fund too! If you are new to couponing, start with the Getting Started Couponing Series, followed by the How To Start Your Fund series. Remember you can use these savings principles to save for anything you want from Disney trips to paying off debt to buying a new television. As the great Walt Disney said “If you can dream it, you can do it!”
Great job on the yard sale!
We had a yard sale a couple of weeks ago and made $325 (had lots of baby stuff to sell!) and then I took the leftovers to Once upon a Child and made another $65! All that went straight into the fund! We are going this December! Can’t wait! Thanks for the daily inspiration and ideas to help us take our vacation!
GREAT JOB!!! Awesome fund deposit!!!
Are there any apps that you would recommend for budget planning/receipt tallying ect….. Thanks a bunch!
I use this app http://www.couponingtodisney.com/2012/04/20/getting-started-couponing-free-envelope-system-app/
Love it!
Congrats on a successful sale…I need to have a yard sale as well. Waiting to see what we made at consignment sale to determine if I should have one….
That’s awesome!!! Great job!! We had one yard sale earlier this year and added $200 to our Disneyland fund and we have a space at the school swap meet this Saturday. Hopefully, it will be a good turnout.
Good luck! :)
