It was a really great week for my Disney fund…
$0.52 – Bought a Sams Club / Walmart gift card from a friend before we made a big household purchase at Sams. She told me she would throw in the $0.52 balance on the card for free for my fund. What a great friend!
$5 – I owed a different friend $5 for running to the store for me when I was stuck at home with sick kids and they needed G2 Gatorade. She told me not to worry about paying her back and put it in my fund instead. What a great friend!
$8 – My daughter wanted to spend some of her allowance on a new MP3 album. I had accumulated MP3 credits for FREE, so she gave me $8 and I used the credits and put the money into the fund.
$3.31 – Spare Change
$5.48 – Sam’s Club charged me twice for an item a couple weeks ago. I called them immediately but didn’t make it to the store until this week.
$4.18 – Earned $0.25 per gallon FuelPerks from Winn Dixie. Used it to fill up hubby’s truck. I took $4.18 out of the gas budget and put it into the Disney fund.
$64.52 – Hubby and I both used to work with a company that had a minimum $50 payout (this was early 2009). They finally added a Paypal option with no minimum so I was able to cash out both our accounts this week! Woohoo!!
$2 – Got another CVS survey (sign up here) but this time I didn’t qualify. But I got $2 for trying, so woohoo!
$90.91 added to the Disney fund this week! $2182.96 saved since November 12th, 2011 (see past deposits here). Our goal is $3,700. Going the end of January 2013 (see our pending budget here).
I want you to learn how to grow your own fund too! If you are new to couponing, start with the Getting Started Couponing Series, followed by the How To Start Your Fund series. Remember you can use these savings principles to save for anything you want from Disney trips to paying off debt to buying a new television. As the great Walt Disney said “If you can dream it, you can do it!”

Think reinvestment. Had you left that $64 in PP you could have used that towards the purchase of NBPR forms. Even paying 20% of face value for the forms would have produced $320 in rebates for a 400% return on your $64.

What are NBPR forms?

Awesome deposit!

Is $4.18 the total after multiplying .25 by the number of gallons you filled? Then you took the difference between the gas budget and what you spent and put that in the fund?
