Flights Of Wonder Show Ending At Animal Kingdom
Flights of Wonder started at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 1998, when the park itself opened. This educational show displayed various exotic birds. Unfortunately, this show will be ending. Flights of Wonder has its last scheduled performances through December 31, 2017.
Magical Express 4 Hour Prior Pick Up Now In Effect
Using Disney’s Magical Express will now have guests leaving a bit earlier. As Disney’s Magical Express is now picking up guests 4 hours prior to your flight departure time. Prior to November 17, 2017, the time was 3 hours before. This is to ensure you make your flight with the increased security measures at Orlando International Airport.
Disney has said they will re-evaluate this decision after the holiday season.
Disney’s Magical Express is a free transportation system bringing guests to and from their Disney Resorts and airport.
La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil Confirmed To Close 2017
La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil first opened at Disney Springs (Downtown Disney) in 1998. Although, the entertainment center will not quite reach its 20 year mark as the final show will take place on December 31, 2017.
The La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil entertained visitors for 19 years with more than 8,500 shows. Shows will continue to run through 2017 until the closing date of December 31, 2017.
Stitch’s Great Escape Resumes December 23
Stitch’s Great Escape, despite rumors, is coming back. At least temporarily. Stitch’s Great Escape will resume seasonal operation for guests from December 23, 2017 through January 6, 2018.
Rover’s Christmas Carousel Of Progress Sorcerers Card Available
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom (free to play) is an interactive card game where guests can defeat Disney Villains. Start at the Firehouse on Main Street, where guests get their key cards, spell cards and maps.
Guests who attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (hard ticket event) can pick up a special edition card. “Rover’s Christmas Carousel of Progress” is available on party nights only. It features Christmas decorations and Rover from a classic Disney attraction, Carousel of Progress.
