Disney Skyliner (Possible 2018)
The Disney Skyliner Transportation system is a ride and soon to be a new mode of transportation, connecting Epcot & Hollywood Studios plus select Disney Resorts. Read, 5 things we know, see the Skyliner map with stops and see the latest concept art.
Slinky Dog Dash (Confirmed 2018)
Sit in the coils as Slinky leads the way in this new family friendly roller coaster, named Slinky Dog Dash, in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios opening 2018.
Alien Swirling Saucers (Confirmed 2018)
Alien Swirling Saucers is inspired by Disney’s original Toy Story, this attraction resembles the play set Andy gets from Pizza Planet. Guests will be seated and rotate to music newly created just for this new ride, try not to get caught by “The Claw” overhead! This attraction will be in the new Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios.
Main St USA New Theatre (Possible 2018)
The new theatre is inspired by Willis Wood theater in 1920s Kansas City (where Walt Disney lived for a time). This new venue will be provide guests with top notch entertainment, however no announcements on what that will be at this time.
Millennium Falcon Attraction (Confirmed 2019)
Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios is a Millennium Falcon ride, an attraction that puts guests in control.
First Order and the Resistance Battle (Confirmed 2019)
Another attraction coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios will put guests in the middle of a battle with the First Order and the Resistance, to be highlighted in the new land.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (Possible 2019)
The new attraction invites guests to become part of a cartoon with Mickey Mouse and his friends. Ride into the starlight and hold onto your seats for this zany adventure. Located in the Chinese Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, formerly where The Great Movie Ride was located.
Ratatouille Inspired Attraction (Possible 2021)
Epcot’s France Pavilion will be getting a new Ratatouille inspired attraction. This new attraction is expected to be completed by 2021, in time for Walt Disney World Resorts 50th anniversary celebration. The expansion of Epcot’s France Pavilion is said to also include new stores & restaurants.
Tron Attraction (Possible 2021)
Magic Kingdom will be getting a new ride also, a Tron inspired attraction will have a new home next to Space Mountain. TRON Lightcycle Power Run attraction at Shanghai Disneyland has been very successful and now Disney World in Florida will have its turn. The ride is expected to be complete by 2021.
