Kilimanjaro Safaris is celebrating the new year with a new born! A newborn elephant calf that is, named Stella. The caring mother is 28-year-old Donna and Stella is her 3rd calf. Stella is the parks 7th elephant calf birth at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In total, there are now 10 elephants (3 male, 6 female) in the family at Disney’s Animal Kingdom parks.
Stella received extensive pre-natal care throughout her natural pregnancy. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Parks continue to provide worldwide conservation, work with Save the Elephants and Reverse the Decline of elephants.
