Epcot’s 26th International Flower & Garden Festival is now underway for guests through June 3, 2019. There is a special display new for 2019 of a giant penguin sculpture, to celebrate the upcoming film Disneynature Penguins. The sculpture was created by the nonprofit, WashedAshore, who produces artwork to create awareness about plastic pollution.
The sculpture is made entirely out of marine debris washed ashore, such as plastic bottle caps, toothbrushes, toys and more. See the sculpture pictured above between The Land and The Seas pavilions at Epcot. Pledge to reduce your amount of single-use plastics. Another large penguin sculpture can be found at Animal Kingdom through April 30th as an Earth Month celebration.
See Disneynature Penguins in theatres April 17, 2019 opening week and also give back. A donation to the Wildlife Conservation Network will be made by the Disney Conservation Fund for every ticket sold from April 17-23, 2019 for Disneynature Penguins.
