It’s official! Disney has confirmed a live-action remake for The Lion King. The Lion King remake from the 1994 classic will be directed by Jon Favreau, who also just directed The Jungle Book. This exciting new version will still have favorite classics including the songs by Elton John: “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
Other recent live remakes include: Maleficent , Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, and now The Lion King. I am excited to see the final product on this one!
