Disney California Adventure Park will welcome Paradise Park (a new land), Summer 2018. Guests visiting alongside Paradise Bay will experience new merchandise, food and most exciting – new attractions.
This change is a permanent new land, beginning Summer 2018, with four new “neighborhoods”.
New neighborhoods:
- The Incredibles – Featuring new Incredicoaster (formally California Screamin’), however the ride carts will be re-imagined. As a result of this transformation, California Screamin’ will permanently close January 8, 2018.
- Toy Story – Featuring Toy Story Mania
- Inside Out – Featuring an unnamed Family Friendly attraction.
- Pixar stories – Featuring a re-imagined Mickey’s Fun Wheel with each gondolas featuring a different Pixar or Disney character. Mickey’s face will remain in the center.
This new area and Paradise Gardens, Silly Symphony Swings, Jumpin’ Jellyfish, Goofy’s Sky School, Golden Zephyr and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, will all be known as Paradise Park, starting Summer 2018.
Closed for Refurbishment Starting January 8, 2018:
- Mickey’s Fun Wheel
- Games of the Boardwalk and Sideshow
- Ariel’s Grotto restaurant and the Cove Bar
