As you know, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort is currently open for guests with reservations. Starting June 24, 2019, reservations are no longer needed, however a virtual queue system will be utilized as needed. To find out if you need to join a boarding group to enter, check signage or the Disneyland app on the day of your visit. Then you can request a virtual spot in line. Then enjoy other experiences while waiting, guests have up to 2 hours to enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge once they are notified. Boarding passes may also be obtained at select Fastpass kiosks.
The exception for needed reservations are Savi’s Workshop & Oga’s Cantina which both require prior reservations due to limited capacity.
