Take a birds eye view ride with the Disney Skyliner Transportation System, a state of the art Gondola system. This mode of Gondola transportation opened for guests in Fall 2019. Ride in the sky in a Gondola featuring your favorite Disney characters.
The characters on the side of the Gondola appear as if they are riding with you! Themed Gondolas include: “Coco”, “Finding Dory”, The Haunted Mansion, “Monsters, Inc.”, Pirates of the Caribbean, “Ratatouille” and more!
The Disney Skyliner runs daily approximately 30-60 before EPCOT or Hollywood Studios earliest opening hours and up to an hour after these parks closing time.
Guests will enjoy never before seen views of Epcot, Hollywood Studios and more. Depending on the location, the Gondola will be above the ground from 15-60 feet and rides last from approximately 5-15 minutes. The Gondolas are in constant motion, at 11 MPH.
There are nearly 300 Gondolas for guests. Each cabin can hold up to 10 guests and can accommodate those traveling by wheelchair and other assistive devices. There is one bench that can fold inside the cabin, and the Gondola can pause for those who need extra time getting on. Although there is no air condition, they are equipped with ventilation and Florida heat in mind.
Disney Skyliner connects 4 Disney Resorts and 2 Disney parks. Guests can hop on at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or Disney’s Pop Century Resort to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Or continue onward to Disney Riviera Resort to the International gateway at EPCOT. Furthermore, guests can easily access Disney’s Boardwalk with a short walk from the International Gateway at EPCOT.
Find the hub of the Skyliner System at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, where 3 lines intersect. The hub acts as a transfer station if you need to switch lines.
