Thanks so much for sharing. My daughter is fine on her sight words but still is fully reading. Does anyone else have more webcites that might help. Thanks again for any help on this.
Thanks for sharing! I will definitely try these with my son. He is starting to get really interested in reading but hasn’t mastered all the sight words yet.
Someone once told me she set her tv to cc so her kids would see the words while they watched their favorite show. It helped them learn to read…might help.
This was great. Thank you fro sharing. I am going to share with my daughter’s kindergarten teacher too. Maybe this will get my daughter to finally get those sight words down.
A fun, free website I use with my students is http://www.starfall.com. It’s interactive stories, games, and activities and each one centers around a specific vowel sound, vowel combination, blend, etc. She might like it–every story is read aloud to them, highlights as it goes, and has some sort of activity to go with it.
Home Depot has paint samples that are in the shape of Mickey Mouse heads. I use these with my granddaughter for the purpose of matching colors, memory games, and other created games. They have lots of colors to pick from!

I will have to check this out, too!
Thank you for posting! I look forward to using these games with my little guys who are all Disney fans!
The dollar spot @ Target has math and reading disney flash cards right now. I picked some up for Easter baskets.
I will have to look for those!
