On your next Walt Disney World Trip, you might ask a cast member for an autograph. Here’s the tip Rebecca sent it:
I still love getting autographs but have mainly stuck to random cast members over my last few trips. Usually I get autographs when I make a purchase or otherwise interact with one of them. Needless to say, the cast members are usually extremely excited when I’ve asked and I was in college! I can only imagine their delight if younger kids ask for their autographs. It makes their day and leaves you feeling happy, so it’s a win win!
Here is what you should do if you get sick at Walt Disney World.

I bought an autograph book for my brother for his 40th birthday. I got autographs for him of strictly cast members, bo characters. Everyone we asked was happy to give their autograph.
Oh I wish I had seen this years ago!! We had a character breakfast at Akershus and my then 3 year old daughter mistook one of the waiters as a prince because he followed the parade of princesses out of the kitchen area. She was so excited! I asked our waitress if she would ask him to come over and he did and even got his picture taken with her. His name was “Prince Jonas” and it was very magical for her. I should have asked for his autograph!
I should’ve asked for the autograph of the CM that accidentally put too much rum in my drink on Pandora!!! She’s a true hero! Lol
When we had breakfast at the Storyteller Cafe at DLR we noticed a little girl dressed up as Snow White. We approached her and asked if she was the real Snow White . She was so delighted! We asked for her autograph, but she told us that she didn’t know how to spell Snow White, so we asked if she would sign her real name; she did; it was Lily!
As a former cast member, I would say this is a great idea. I would also suggest that if there is a special character you are unable to find, ask cast members if they “know” the character. This is especially effective if you are staying at one of the resorts.
In response to Susans comment about asking if they knew a character. The last time i went 2004- we always stayed at Fort Wilderness. I searched all through China for Mulan and Shang. I found Mushu only. I was so disappointed but i love Mushu so i told him i was thrilled to meet him. ( i was 16) that evening during the parade. Mushu came running over when he spotted me dragging Shang and Mulan by the hands. Shang picked me up and kissed my cheek while Mulan gave me a big hug and a special Pin.
Im an adult, and Shang is still my favorite character.
That is th e cutest story, lucky you!!!!
I so love this my little one has asked if he can have theres and I didnt think I should let him ask I so feel bad for that. Next trip he can ask everyone if his heart desires
I wonder what would happen if we did this at Disneyland or DCA? Cute idea!
I’ve gotten the autograph of the conductor from our Behind the Steam Trains tour & our waitress at the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.
My sister is about to start the Disney College Program. I can’t wait to ask her for hers! (I’ll expect at least a pin!) :)
My roommate had a little boy ask for her autograph when she worked at ABC Commissary and that’s her favorite story to tell from her time working there.
Perfect post! What a lovely idea
