Hi- those are my pictures :) We had a $25 restaurant.com voucher and we still paid $80 for 2 adults and 1 child for the seafood buffet. My daughter only ate 2 mini corn dogs. I liked the desserts. The meal was so-so. I would not do it again. The Swan hotel is very pretty.
I wonder what happened. My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner there. I wouldn’t call us picky, but we eat out often at many top rated restaurants so we are familiar with good food. We went last year and on one of their sea food nights. The recent bad reviews makes me worried that they lost a good chef or something. We really enjoyed most of it. The only dish I thought was so so was the clam chowder.
we just ate there on thursday night and i was only impressed by the chef who made fresh pasta dishes. that was really good, otherwise, i didn’t eat anything else. way expensive for what it is. my son enjoyed the mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and cookies though. our waitress was great. pluto and goofy were the characters. my nephew missed out on goofy and then was having a fit (he’s 1) so was in the hall the second time goofy came looking for him. they did take goofy out in the hall for a private meet and greet which was awesome :). food wise though, not worth it.
We ate there on our first trip to Disney. I have a very picky eater and a husband who is all about quality when it comes to his food (he is a chef). We were not impressed by the food at all. The best thing was the desert. I also thought that the characters could have been more engaging with the kids instead of being so dry. We will not be returning there and do not recommend this to our friends.
We returned from WDW last week and almost went to the Garden Grove. I purchased a gift certificate from restaurant.com in anticipation of going, but the price of each meal, compared to the limited characters, didn’t add up for us. We did eat at Kimono’s at the Swan (another restaurant.com offer) and it was fabulous!!
