Could you update it because I am going in January 2022 and I don’t know what is new
This list is amazing!!! It is so helpful! But is this all they have 24/7… If not can it be updated for 2019!
True
This list is awsome! Any chance you can update it for 2016?
We’re going late March; I would be happy to help get you some pricing information of you like.
My mother-in-law mentioned that Wal-Mart sometimes has Disney t-shirts and supposedly there is one in the Disney area. Head there first!
I know 15 years ago there was one in Kissemmee and It sold almost everything disney related it is also 5 minutes from disney.. One of the cast members at a disney store told me to buy everything before we go and tell the kids that mickey brings a present every night you stay so that way they will be excited to see what he brings and kinda gives you an out to buy stuff at the parks..
Thanks for the information, I have been doing my shopping at the Outlet Disney store to buy gifts so that my boys don’t go crazy in wanting a lot of souveniers. I got the light up buzz year for a buy 2 get one free offer. I plan on driving down there so I can take their toys without the worry of not having enough space. I can’t wait to go. I still got 7 months to go:)
Thanks so much for this! Really helps with the planning ahead (and what to look for when I hit the dollar stores/yard sales in advance of our trip).
Thank you so much for answering this. I am “planning ahead” and have been buying stuff on sale at my Disney Store.
Got the light up spinners for $14.50 but they were B2G1 free.
Also got some small fans (mickey and minnie helicopters) that light up (also B2G1 free).
At pizza planet, they have gumball type machines that have little sqinkie size pooh bears. We had fun seeing what we would get. i think they were around a dollar.
We do buy some souvenirs at the parks, but since we drive, we head over to Wal-Mart or Target. They each have big Disney Merchandise sections near the front of the store. I scored a Disney World hoodie for $18 at Walmart, Disney towels for $5 and my kids were able to get little souvenirs for some of their friends. We also buy most of our “gear” before we go (shirts etc), so they really don’t need, or even ask for, much while we are there.
On my last trip, I left the kids at home – ran the Princess Half Marathon with a girlfriend – so I was desperate to bring souvenirs back. Ended up in the Port Orleans gift shop the night before – $8 back scratcher, $8 journal and a couple of bags of candy thrilled my kids!!! Also, in the POFQ food court, there are bendy straws in the shape of Mickey heads that are .45 each and my kids LOVED them!!!! I’m kicking myself for not bringing one back for each of the kids in my preschool class!
This makes me remember when I was a cast member. There’s a store behind the Magic Kingdom that offers souvenirs at 75% off. I got quite a lot there. Usually they were damaged or had some slight issue, but they were always something like a missing tag, a wrinkled shirt, or something I could easily fix.
I always have to get a coffee mug to commemorate the trip. Prices are $10-$15, depending on the mug, which is pretty much the same as I’ve paid in Yellowstone, Las Vegas, D.C., San Diego, etc., for souvenir mugs.
Our favorite souvenirs are pressed pennies… $0.51 each. There are a ton of penny and quarter machines around the parks, and the hunt for the ones you want is half the fun.
The autograph books aren’t a bad deal for what you get, especially with the picture sleeves on the page with the autograph. They’re pretty well made. This year, however, I helped my daughter make her own autograph book – she chose clipart pictures of the characters she wanted so they’d each have their own special page, designed a cool cover page, we printed it out on 5 X 7 cardstock pages, and Kinko’s spiral bound it and put a plastic cover on it for $5. Not a huge savings over a basic Disney autograph book, but she had a LOT more character interaction with the princesses gushing over their pictures in the book, Pooh mimic-ing the pose on his page, and characters calling her by name when they saw the “Princess Rebecca’s Autographs” titles.
I always pack our old Disney hats/ears to take with us on trips…helps me want to buy less of those. I always have to get a shirt or sweatshirt of some kind though…
For Disneyland souvenirs, I always go to the Disney Character Warehouse before heading to the parks. The autograph books are a lot cheaper.
Don’t forget the disney outlet at the outlet mall.
I am heading to Disney on Saturday! I am super stoked. Cannot wait to spend time with the famiy :)
I buy a beach towel every year. They are all around $20. It’s pretty cheap and I use them all the time. It’s a great souvenir. And you can shove it in the suitcase..
Cost of adding a name to your Mickey ears $3.95 or $7.95.
When went to Disney in October we were prepared for the worst when it came to the price of the food. We were happy to discover that the prices were cheaper than six flags great america in gurnee Illinois. We were expecting the prices to be comparably higher. But the souvenirs were a different story! We boughta few souvenirs at the stores outside of the parks. But i felt the autograph books were worth the extra cost thru disney. The ones i found at the stores outside the parks were so cheap. I like that we could put photos next to the signature. Wish i had ordered them online during one of their promotions beforehand. You live and learn!
