We just stayed at the Contemporary Resort this past week. The food was good but the cashiers were less than helpful. I didn’t find the touch screen system to work well with the meal plan as it didn’t advise what came with it and as I said the cashiers weren’t the most helpful. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there unless I was staying at the resort.
Just on our way back from WDW now! We stayed at the Contemporary Resort and ate breakfast at the cafe daily! The Mickey mouse waffle with bananas and caramel was delicious!
We ate there in June. The food was very good and my kids loved watching the mono-rail go through the building while we ate.
Loved having lunch here. We ate here twice. The red velvet cupcakes were sooo good.
We LOVE Contempo Cafe and eat there for dinner as tradition on our arrival day. You order at touch screens. Everything prompts you accordingly, giving you choices and spelling everything out for you. You proceed to a CM at the window of the kitchen are and then receive a buzzer that vibrates when your order is ready for pick-up. A CM trays it up for you or packs it to go. While waiting for your order you can choose your beverage and dessert, then it’s time to pay. There are several tables to sit at or you can take the food with you. The to go packaging is awesome! While the meals are served on paper plates like any QS restaurant, they bag it all up for you so you don’t have to juggle trays. We take our dinner down to the beach area and eat at the tables outside of the boat launch. I always get the same thing, a vegetable bake. Contempo Cafe is highly recommended!
