We have eaten here on almost every trip. The mushroom filet with truffle butter is wonderful and the risotto is amazing. They have a great artisan cheese plate. Maple Crème Brûlée is one of my absolute all time favorite desserts. I love the pretzel bread here, but (gasp) I really don’t like the cheddar cheese soup. This was our favorite restaurant but now that the dinner is 2 Table Service Credits we are considering skipping it on our next trip to try a few of the new restaurants. If you have never been I highly recommend it and I’m sure we will return on future trips, but probably not on our next trip. – Renea

We ate here I need 2010, we loved it! Everything we had was amazing! We weren’t rushed our waiter was attentive. Even our grandson ate all of his dinner. We haven’t been back since the menu change but would definitely go back the next time we are there.
Honestly, we were less than impressed, especially after hearing all the ‘rave’ about Le Cellier. The atmosphere felt very claustrophobic w the low ceiling. We certainly wouldn’t utilize a Signature Dining for the DP! We had higher expectations, especially after making ADR MONTHS ahead. We chose NOT to dine there this September’s visit to WDW
We have eaten here twice, but since they have changed it to 2 TS services at dinner we skipped it this year. But I did miss it :(
The Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup…OMG…best soup ever! I am not at all a soup person, the only soup I will eat is French Onion, but this is just awesome. And the breads they give are fantastic, great for dipping!
I always get the Fliet Mignon which just melts in your mouth and I sub the side given for the mashed potatoes which are excellent!
Finally for dinner its always the chocolate “moose” which is always fantastic!
The only thing that stinks about this restaurant is having to get up @ 6AM 180 days out in order to get the reservation and the fact that it is now 2 TS for dinner.
Had lunch there this past week – I thought the steaks were very good, but after all the awesome reviews I was honestly expecting them to be even better. The service was a little slow, it took forever to get drink refills and desserts. I would have liked to have had a few more options for kids – must everyone offer the exact same thing? The pretzel bread was my favorite part of the meal! YUM! All in all, I thought it was pretty good, but not my favorite meal of the trip. And I definitely would not use 2 table service credits to eat for dinner, but that’s just me :)
Ditto to almost eveyone else -the cheese soup and pretzel bread is amazing! We enjoyed the steaks and desserts were sooooo yummy (i can’t remember what we each got). We didn’t have reservations the first time and only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. the second time we got reservations the night before from a cancellation. Not sure if we will go back now that it takes 2 meal services as there are lots of places to get steaks in Disney.
You will probably get a lot of good reviews on this one! Nice & cool inside especially on a hot July day. You MUST order the cheese soup and the pretzel bread is sooo good. I had a filet done medium well and butterflied and it was cooked perfect. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals. I can’t remember what they had as I was too excited for my own meal!
We dined here for lunch on our Disney trip last week. This was our first experience at this restaurant. The only downside to the whole experience is that we had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. It seems like this is fairly common here. The food was well worth the wait though. The cheese soup is amazing, especially if you dip the pretzel breadstick in it. I had a bacon cheesburger for lunch and it was delicous as well. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse which was just ok but my husband had the maple creme brulee and he said it was delicious. We definitely plan to return here on our next trip.
At first, I was seriously bummed that dinner was changed over to 2 table service credits. I had waited to eat here for quite some time and we went only 2 months after the credits changed. Let me tell you though, it didn’t (and still doesn’t) matter! We ended up going for lunch and it was EXTREMELY WORTH IT!!! My husband, girls and I had a wonderful experiance and we were 100% STUFFED when we left.
The start off bread was great, with different options. I liked the pretzel bread, it had good texture and flavor. My girls got the Cheese soup with their meal, and we all shared- it was very good! Creamy, with a great quality taste. They’ve really got the soup correct and I hope it doesn’t change!
I had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet mignon and it was to DIE FOR. The best steak I have had in a LONG TIME at a restaurant. It was very tender, with a great flavor and done to perfection. It was served with a mushroom risotto that was extremely creamy and very good. The mixture of the two were outstanding.
My husband got the New York Strip and it wasn’t as good. Not very tender. The flavor was good, but we’ve had better steaks at outback steakhouse.
My girls each got the steak and they were quite happy!
ALL of us got the special drink (it was included while we were there, I don’t know if it still is or not??) My girls and I all got the “Red Maple”- raspberry smoothie with sprite. WOW it was good!!! My hubby got the Niagara refresher. It was good, but we all prefered the Red Maple,
The desserts weren’t as good as I thought they’d be. My girls LOVED theirs, make your own sundae- it was GREAT for them, they love to mix things and put food combinations together so it was perfect! My husband got the Smores and we were less than impressed. It wasn’t anything like we were expecting, didn’t taste that great. I don’t remember the name of what I got, and it’s not listed anymore- but it was this fruit mixture with ice cream on it. It tasted EXACTLY like the fruit soup I make every Christmas, it was good- but something I can make at home already. I was hoping for something a bit more ‘special’ I guess. The moose wasn’t that great either, people sitting next to us got that and they were less than impressed.
I last dined here in 2010, so I haven’t been since the menu changed. We thought it was great. Our server was very knowledgable about the food and provided great recommendations. It was busy, but we didn’t feel crowded or rushed at any point. The cheddar cheese soup was tasty. Neither of our entree options appear to still be on the menu, but they were good. The mashed potatoes were also very good. The Maple Creme Brulee was to die for.
I’m not sure I”d go back for dinner for the 2TS credits, but I’d be tempted to have it for lunch again just to see how it is now.
YUM!!!!! The pretzel bread and mussells are worth the trip! My husband loves the steak too. I wish it weren’t 2 credits for dinner, but in all honesty it’s probably worth it. So good!!
Stupid auto-correct. Can’t spell creme brulee
We had an anniversary dinner there last month. Yummy! I want it NOW! We shared our apps: cheddar soup ( rich, delicious, hearty) and lobster salad ( a bit chewy, wouldn’t order again…have had much better). The filet was meltingly tender and cooked beautifully. The mushroom risotto was creamy and full of flavor. The maple Verne brûlée was delicious but so sweet and rich and big I couldn’t finish it. They brought us champagne with raspberries as a gift. Ahhh, so nice. When can I go back?
We absolutely love eating here. We were disappointed to hear that it went to a 2TS… we have always been on a dining plan, and it was always worth it for a 1TS. The food is great, but would go for lunch now, as the menu is practically the same as it was for dinner before the change. Have always had the filet with risotto… mmm, my mouth is watering!
We have eaten here several times. The risotto is lovely! Our absolute favorite, and a MUST TRY, is the cheddar cheese soup. It is addicting! We look forward to the Food and Wine Festival EVERY year as you can purchase a cup of the “to die for” soup at the Canada Kiosk!
Trying this rest. is worth it!!!!! Enjoy!
OMG, the hubby and I love this restaurant. I had THE BEST filet there, so juicy and tender I could have cut it with a butter knife. Service is wonderful. Well worth a splurge for a couple, maybe for a special evening.
very hard to get a reservation here…we finally got a lunch reservation on our 3rd Disney trip. However, the wait was absoultely worth it!! Great food and service :) Another great place to eat is Tappen Edo if you like Japanese!
Would love to try it but couldn’t get reservations – ever 180 days prior!
My favorite WDW restaurant! Lunch is the best time to go, right when they open at 11:30. All the waiters and waitresses sing the Canadian National anthem right as they open. My mom and I shared a lunch combo there, crispy fried steak (amazing!) with a yummy potato salad and a green salad. Also with the combo you get an appetizer, I highly recommend that you try their cheddar cheese soup with moosehead ale, I could just get a bowl of that and be happy. Then for dessert we got a maple creme brulee, which was fantastic. We got very lucky and only booked our reservation about 3 weeks in advance.
We went for the first time in January. It was my ENTIRE family’s favorite food EVER! We are still craving it. Best in WDW! We all had the filet. I would pass on the desserts. We thought the creme brulee and chocolate “moose” weren’t all that great.
I’m curious if anyone has eaten at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and how those steaks compare to Le Cellier. After countless trips, my husband and I finally got ADRs for our upcoming trip – and he shockingly didn’t do it at 180 days! I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve eaten at both. Also, and this is only slightly relevant, I do not eat mushrooms. Is the steak at Le Cellier just as good without the sauce? I hate to go to a steakhouse and not get steak, even though there are a bunch of things that look super yummy!
We have eaten at both and my husband has allergies and is unable to have sauces on any steaks The steak at LeCellier was overcooked, tough, and without flavor. At Yachtsman, however, the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We can’t wait to go back to Yachtsman.
This is one of our favorite Epcot restaurants. The cheddar cheese soup is to die for. I also appreciate that while it’s a steakhouse, they do have vegetarian options on the menu (When we went in February, it was pan seared gnocchi with a pesto sauce) We’ll definitely be eating there again, as we plan on Le Cellier being our post-wedding restaurant. :)
We ate lunch there a few years back and loved it! The Cheddar Cheese Soup was amazing, to die for, especially with the assorted breadsticks they give you. We split the filet mignon with mushroom risotto I believe, it was perfect. Dessert was the chocolate “moose” and maple creme brulee. Both were very good, but I preferred the butterscotch creme brulee at Cali Grill. Dave our server was very good, my husband loved his beer recommendations. Our only complaint was the tables were so close together I had to keep my elbows tucked in to not hit my neighbor! I could read their menu from my chair. That said, we will still definitely go back!
LeCellier was very disappointing for us. My husband has a food allergy, and usually Disney is so great about accomodating allergies, but LeCellier had nothing to offer him but a plain steak and a plain baked potato. However, it was very pretty inside!
Dined here twice for dinner; will definitely be going back-but for lunch this time, because even with the upgraded menu, I just don’t think it’s “worth” the 2 dining credits that dinner will cost now. Even for Disney, we found the tables super close together.
However, service, food and atmosphere are outstanding. I could make a meal with their cheddar cheese soup, pretzel breadsticks and maple creme brulee-BUT be sure to try their steaks-yummy!
Try their ice wine as well-outstanding-most expensive glass of wine(I don’t usually pay that much for a BOTTLE of wine at home) I’ve ever had but it’s worth it!
We last dined here in 2008 and have already made reservations for our trip in Nov. The white truffle butter sauce the put on top of the steak is to die for! It was the best steak I’ve ever had at Disney.
Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!!! Food is awesome, service great.
This restaurant is absolutely FABULOUS!!!!Best steak ever. The pretzel bread is served with your meal and is wonderful. Even my picky children love it.You have to try the Canadian cheese soup its to die for. Make your reservation early. We have ate a almost every sit down restaurant in the “World” and this is by far our favorite.
We ate dinner here in January 2011 before it turned into a 2TS meal. For all of the hype, I didn’t think it was that great. I planned our park days around this ressie. I could only get dinner ressies at Le Cellier for this one night, so everything else shaped up around it, I was never able to re-arrange it, so we just kept it because the reviews were so great. First problem was that our table (for 4) was seated right at the part of the room that is closest to the in and out doors for the kitchen! Talk about ridiculous. I think I was in such shock when we were shown our table that I didn’t say anything. Needless to say, I didn’t think the atmosphere was so great. The pretzel bread was the best part of the meal. I got the NY strip, and it was tough and gristle-y. Our ressie was at about 8p, and we wanted to get out in time for Illuminations so I didn’t complain, I just wanted to get out of there. That Epcot day had a lousy start because it rained heavily before the park even opened. The best steak I had in The World was at The Wave at the Contemporary. Really! And Sanaa, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge VIllas was better too. I concentrated on dining at new places because we got the “free dining”, and it was great.
We LOVE this restaurant! It used to take only 1 table service credit at dinner until they changed it, but it’s totally worth using 2. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been wonderful! The breadsticks are amazing and the steak is delicious! Love the fun desserts too….chocolate mousse that they decorate to look like a moose and kids love the s’mores! The cast members there are always very friendly too!
We have a lunch reservation for this one on our upcoming trip (less than a month away!) and I am so excited!!!!!
I absolutely love this restaurant. One of the saddest things was that we didn’t get to eat at Le Cellier the last time we went to Disney because we didn’t do early enough reservations.
The maple creme brule is AWESOME. As are the steaks, cheddar soup and the cheese assortment.
Hands down the best restaurant at Epcot! My husband and I eat there often. The service has always been good and they gave us a special anniversary creme brulee the last time we were there. :D I have never had a bad experience and the food is completely awesome! Love love love it!
Great steak and fantastic cheese soup. We will ALWAYS go back here, every trip to WDW. Definitely worth it, but we try to go at lunch, so we only use one credit! :)
SO GOOD. The best burger (on the lunch menu) that you can get in Disney. The Cheddar Cheese soup is the BEST EVER.
Kids menu is the basic stuff.
We loved Le Celler’s. The steaks were to die for. It’s one of those resturants that we included for my husband and I but the kids really enjoyed it too.
L.O.V.E. Loved Le Cellier! The cheddar soup is A Maze ing. The pretzel bread I could not get enough of. They under cooked my steak a little the 1st time we went but it was corrected right away. And DO NOT skip desert.
Worst service I ever had took 1 hour to get my food then they brought every one
Else’s food but mine when the finally brought it,it was closing time every one in our
Party had already had there desert. The staff all stood around and watched me eat. Supper uncomfortable. Then to add salt to the wound the sent a bottle of wine to our friends at the next table and didn’t even offer any thing to us .
I’m happy to see from the other posts that this restaurant is still so good! My husband and I honeymooned at WDW in 1997 and ate at this restaurant. It had just opened! It was hands-down the best steak I have ever had! I still think about it! We are finally getting back to WDW in January with our three kids (it will be their first time to go), and I’ve been disappointed because even this far out, Le Cellier is booked solid, dinner and lunch. So make sure you get your reservations in as far in advance as you can, and I guess keep checking back closer to your trip time to see if there have been any cancellations. It looks like we may have to miss out this trip!
My family ate at this restaurant for lunch onn the dining plan. It had some of the best steaks I have ever tasted!!!
We went with 2 adults, very picky 17 yr old, 15 yr ols and a vegetarian 12 year old. No problem for all to find and appy, entree, and dessert that suited their tastes. Service during the week lunch was excellent and not to rushed, but we puposely scheduled meals at off times just to avoid a rush.
Highly recommend this family friendly restaurant. And of course I would recommend that no one EVER go to Disney without a food plan!!
We ate there for the first time for our 2011 Disney vacation. The atmosphere is great! Literally in a cellar. Be aware you don’t get cell phone service while inside. The food has a Canadian menu and the waiters/waitresses are all from Canada. My family and I shared the cheese bacon soup to dip in the pretzel bread. (DELICIOUS) The food was good and the atmosphere was good. Dessert is awesome!
On our last trip in 2010 we had dinner here and it was delicious. Dh says its the best steak he has ever had. The service was great and we are planning to go back but probably will try lunch since its a 2 credit meal now. But we still talk about how great the food was!
We loved dining here. We dined with both of our children ages 10 and 7 at the time. By far the best steak we had ever had. Would definatly go back some time.
Love it, love it, love it! We dine here at lunch so we don’t have to use 2 TS credits, but the food is great if you love steaks!! We have a ressie here for our trip in January!
