We ate dinner here one night since we were staying at Coronado Springs and we were very pleased with everything. It was nice that there was something for everyone. We also got bottles of water with our meal but saved them for later and used our refillable mugs to drink sodas with our dinner. I will say, I wouldn’t make a special trip here for a meal, but it’s a nice option if you are staying at CS.
We ate their for breakfast, was not impressed at all. They have it setup as a buffet, but they serve it to you, and each station has its own plates. The buffet server kept insisting to use the plate he had and not fill the plate I already had gotten from another buffet server. I had 3 plates walking back to my table. My husband said “hungry much!?!?” Then I told him to go het his food, and he came back with 3 plates as well. I just laughed!
That is sad to hear that it is a buffet for lunch, I remember you were able to actually get a Steak there for lunch. One of the few Food Courts to offer a Steak. I usually do cereal in the room now that all the rooms have a fridge, then do my counter meals in the theme parks..
we ate there on our trip last september. pepper market is one of our favorite counter service places. the food was delicious and the portions are huge. last trip most of our counter service meals were eaten there. i was there before things changed to a buffet but we plan on trying it this coming september.
We were there in May and was not impressed with Pepper Market. Ordered a pizza at 8:30 one evening and they tried to talk me out of ordering it…..and it took 25 minutes to get it. and there was a language barrier that made ordering and paying difficult. Loved Coronado but didn’t like Pepper Market.
I just got back yesterday from Disney and did dine at the Peppermarket Cafe on this trip and on previous trips. Like the other readers have said, lunch is now a buffet. I always liked this restaurant to use up the QS meals, but not so much anymore. The lunch buffet had cold food both times we went. I gave it a second chance as we were there 30 minutes before closing the first time. Nope, didn’t matter. I actually did like what I ate, but it would have been so much better warmer. I hate to think of all of the germs. The cook would come out and just stir things up a bit. I hate to say it, but I think I’m going to scratch the Pepper Market Cafe off my list. Does anyone else have any good QS restaurants I can try?
I’m glad to get some reviews! We will be staying at Coronado Springs in January, and will be eating at Pepper Market for breakfast during our stay! I’m excited to try it for breakfast! We will be on the dining plan again this trip.
We stayed here last time so we ate there a bunch. Breakfast the food was just okay, and for lunch and dinner the food was NASTY!!!!! And WAAAAYYY over priced! It’s buffet for breakfast and lunch so you pay the same no matter what. I thought it was gross. It’s not run by the same people as the rest of the Disney resort restaurants since it’s a Convention Center resort. I definitely do NOT recommend it. And the ‘quick service’ place was a joke. There were times when they were so busy they actually stopped taking orders for food!! We made sure to always eat at the park after a couple days of our trip!
I totally agree with you Amanda. We are at Coronado Springs right now. We ate dinner at Pepper Market two days ago and it we had to stand there 15 minutes while it was made at the grill section. They were very disorganized and the food was just okay. The portions were not big at all as other people have claimed. We ate there this morning for the breakfast buffet. I was not impressed at all. Food was nothing special and we felt like we were being rushed. We were given the bill before we were even halfway thru out plate of food. We got the dining plan free this trip so it’s not a big deal to eat here. Next year we will be coming with four additional family members including a 4 year old grandson and will have not a free dining plan. I would not spend the money to eat at Pepper Market. It is not worth it in my opinion.
Pepper Market has a buffet for breakfast and lunch for 1 counter service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. We’re talking cloth napkins, a server brings your drinks, and made to order omelets at breakfast! And, even though we ordered juice to drink, breakfast included 2 drinks, so our server brought us cold bottles of water to take with us to the park! Pepper Market is one of the best deals going in terms of dining at Walt Disney World. Shhh! We don’t want the secret to get out!
haha, I thought it was a great deal too until I tasted the food! Did you like it?
