Walt Disney World is now offering FREE WiFi service at Walt Disney World Resorts and Theme Parks. You can access WiFi in your room and common areas of the resort including the bus stop. You can also access the WiFi in the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney.
Sometimes you will find the internet a bit slow, but when I used it on our last trip it only gave me issues when I was in an indoor attraction queue.
This is really great news for all of us that need internet access when we travel (before it was $10 per 24 hours!).
If you plan to meet characters on your trip, consider an autograph mat for their signatures.

Glad Disney is on board with free Wifi! The “need” for wifi is becoming the norm. I am completing my graduate degree in just 10 weeks with most of my coursework done online so need wifi when traveling. Just returned from accompanying my 16 year old son and 5 of his team mates to a national swim meet in Orlando. They all go to a progressive high school with school issued netbook so with the awesome cooperation of the teachers, were able to keep up with school work. While I never thought I would say this…wifi is becoming a necessity in my life.

This is one of the many reasons that we went to a dvc resort…free internet…wondering if dvc members will get any other new perks…did i read right that more resorts are getting mini fridges too? Dvc could be hurting…last perk left for us is laundry!

Oh that is such great news!! I ended up paying $40.00 last year because I had to work while on vacation. What a waste of money :( When wo go this Sept. I wont have to worry about the added expense!! WOO-HOOO!!!
