My reader Hope was able to preview the New Fantasyland recently. Check out her experience:
What a wonderful experience. We were at the New Fantasyland for about 1/2 our day on Saturday, October 13. My husband (The true Disney fanatic) snapped so many shots and even those aren’t enough to explain how much fun we had. We started off the morning with Enchanted Storytime with Belle. How cool!!! That’s all I can say. I’m not going to spoil the fun for you because there’s so much magic there to experience but I have sent a picture of the magic mirror. Just awesome!
We got a quick breakfast in Gaston’s Tavern which included a cinnamon roll and LeFou’s Brew (frozen apple juice). My kids weren’t fans of the brew but my hubby and I were.
Ariel’s Grotto was enchanting and Ariel was an “A+” in our books. She was magical and perfect for the part. I wanted to give her a kiss myself because she played the part so well.
Ariel’s ride was down for the first few hours of our day in Fantasyland but we checked back a little later and it was open. My youngest child (4 year old) wanted to ride it over and over again and my 7 year old didn’t complain when we rode it 3 times. The colors are stunning and it was just a fun ride for the whole family.
We wrapped up the evening by going back to the New Fantasyland and catching the fireworks over Beast’s castle. We stood on the brigde that connects Fantasyland to the new area and the kids were loving how close they were to the fireworks. It was a long and event filled day but it was well worth it and we can’t wait to go back. Until then, keep the deals coming with Couponing to Disney.
