Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are Disney World’s water parks. Upcoming for 2016-2017 each will close its doors for refurbishments. If you are traveling these months it is great to know to plan ahead. But do not worry, Disney schedules the dates so that one water park is always open.
The 2016 Closure dates are:
- Blizzard Beach closed from October 23, 2016 through to December 24, 2016
- Typhoon Lagoon will be closed from December 25, 2016 through to March 11, 2017
