Disneyland’s Frontierland takes us back to 19th century Old West. It was one of the original 5 theme lands of Walt Disney and he wanted a more open, expansive feel to this land from the others like back in it’s time. It wasn’t intended to have many attractions and just be a place for riding in covered wagons or stagecoaches. All of the Disney Frontierland’s feature Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and some riverfront. This takes us back to the days of cowboys, pioneers, saloons, and even the gold rush.
