Disneyland’s Mickey’s Halloween Party is such a great fit for young families. I have noticed so many trick or treat parties and events are really just too scary for our kids. I love that Mickey’s Halloween Party is good old fashioned Trick or Treating with some of the coolest costumed characters around! We had never been before, but I think it will be a family tradition.
At Mickey’s Halloween Party costumes are encouraged for kids and adults. We saw adult Little Mermaids, King Triton, Mickey Mouse, Barbie and Ken, and many more! We see lots of kids dressed up in costume no matter what time of year it is at Disneyland, but there were even more for the party – it was REALLY fun! We actually made Mouseketeer costumes for our kids! This was REALLY easy and budget friendly! We wore our Mickey Ears, used iron on letters on white t-shirts, and paired with blue skirts & pants – they were very popular and it was so simple and budget friendly!
There are several trick or treat stations throughout the park. The lines went VERY fast! They offered the kids candy and healthy options (raisins, apples, carrots, etc).
Our absolute FAVORITE part was that we got to meet many Disney Villians we have never seen before! We had our picture taken with Cruela De’Vil, Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh (I have NEVER seen him out!), and my son was asked to the ball by Drizella!
If you have never been to Mickey’s Halloween Party – I HIGHLY suggest checking it out!
Thank you so much to Couponing to Disney for letting me share and also for inspiring us to coupon towards our special trips too!
