Disney’s Magic Kingdom is the first park most people think about when they think Disney World. It was for the first Disney World park and the most popular. There are a lot of quick service dining choices at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. I would like to share some tips with you to make sure you make the most of your mealtime while at the Magic Kingdom.
The Friar’s Nook is tucked away in Fantasyland and has incredible Pot Roast Macaroni and Cheese. There is no place to sit but you could always grab a seat at Pinocchio’s Haus. Also Gaston’s Tavern has an incredible warm cinnamon roll in Fantasyland. Many people don’t know about these two great little food options.
Columbia Harbor House has a ton of seating. There is a whole upstairs area. I have even at times found it peaceful at off meal times. The menu is mostly seafood but there are some non-seafood choices for those that don’t like fish.
For families that have a lot of different tastes like mine then your best bet is going to be Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. There are different bays and each bay has different types of food. There are burgers, pulled pork, chicken, salads and lots more. There is also a toppings bar which always gets my husband excited!
There is so much to do and see at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Many people don’t want to waste their time eating. To ensure a faster quick service experience avoid peak lunch (12:30) and dinner (6:30) times. Eat at off times and you won’t be spending as much time in line. This is one tip that has worked well for my family.
My best tip would be to hold off for a late dinner. I recommend getting a seat on the curb at Main Street about an hour before the light parade and have someone in your party go get everyone dinner and bring it back. This is another thing that my family does. We always have the best seat for the parade this way and it occupies the kids. Might as well eat and save a seat!
