Here’s a fun project that you can do with your kids. You can make these to hang on your own tree, or give them as gifts. Whatever you decide to do with them, these are a great way to get your family into the Christmas spirit!
- Clear Christmas balls
- Pledge Floor Care (make sure it’s clear! This bottle looks white but the solution inside is clear.)
- Glitter
- Funnel
1. Take the tops off of your ornaments. Squirt some of the floor cleaner into the ornament. You don’t need a whole lot. Once you have some in there, gently swish it around to cover all of the inside surfaces. You don’t want to shake it or it will create bubbles that take forever to pop or come out (trust me on this… I learned from my mistake). Once you have swished it around the whole thing, pour the left over cleaner back into the bottle.
2. Using a funnel, pour some glitter in the ornament. You are going to want to put a good bit in there, but don’t worry… all of it won’t stick. At this point, you can shake the ornament around to get the glitter all over it. Make sure to turn it upside down and shake to get the top of it covered. Once you feel that it’s good and covered, use the funnel to put the excess glitter back in it’s container.
3. Put the tops back on the ornaments and you’re done!
