It is officially confirmed that Dollar Tree will raise it’s prices from $1.00 to $1.25 in all stores.
This marks their first (and only) price change in 35 years of operation, a decision not taken lightly. Good news coming with this increase is with it will come hundreds of new items and old favorites that will be able to return.
The price increase is said to happen over the next couple of months in all stores nationwide.
Dollar Tree took to social media to say this:
Dollar Tree started its journey in 1985 with a $1 or less price on all items. Since 1985, a lot has changed in retail, but we fought hard over the years to maintain our $1 price. We recently announced that we are adjusting our price to $1.25 in all stores over the coming months. This is our first price change in 35 years, and it will let us continue offering you all the items you’ve come to know and love, add hundreds of NEW ones, and bring back customer favorites at an incredible value. We understand that this is a big change for our customers. Please know that we remain fiercely committed to our mission of bringing you and your family extreme value every day, along with more thrills, more fun, and new items every week. We look forward to seeing you soon in our stores.
