For those wondering a good “trick” for Dumbo is to ride it first…it is a slow loading ride which makes the line seem really long. We never waited more than 10 minutes either. ;)
My daughter has requested ride one ride at Disney World and it’s Dumbo. I hope the line won’t be too long for us. She also love to ride the carousel. We loved looking at the story of Cinderella on the top of the carousel as it went around.
Did you ride Cinderella’s horse? When my daughter got on, a cast member came by and said that Cinderella was really happy that she was riding her horse but wanted her to take extra good care of it because it was a very special horse- my daughter still talks about riding “Cinderella’s special horse!”
Im sreiously going to consider heading down there this time next year. It was tough going in Dec and getting ready for christmas not to mention it was pretty crowded :(
My DS 18 mos was terrified of the carousel. He didn’t like the riding up and down. He hated it. But everytime we walked past, he would point and say that he wanted to ride it more, but as soon as he got on a horse he’d scream. It was really funny.
I hope that you are having a fabulous week! I have really enjoyed following your blog and facebook page. Thanks so much for sharing the deals. We hopefully will get to plan a trip to Disney next year – can’t wait to take my two kiddos there!
10 minute wait for Dumbo is awesome!
We got lucky one day and mary Poppins, Bert, The white Rabbit and Alice all got on the carosel with us!
I am going to have to do the Dumbo or die touring plan!
Beautiful Carousel!!
That is the great thing about going this time of year, the lines are usually manageable and with little ones, that is always a plus .
Dumbo is always my first ride at MK on our first day at MK! Brings back such fond memories of my childhood and bringing my kids to Disney.
