I love disney and all the characters, Too bad i have not seen any of Chip and Dale maybe before the trip is out.
Turtle Talk is so cool. Do you think they hire voice over actors to do Crush or is it done with a computer? The voice sounded just like him.

Seriously, I don’t know how you get to see all of those characters. My kids were so dissapointed that they only saw 4 of them the whole trip.

Character Spot was the first thing we did Christmas day! We had never done pictures there and it was awesome!

You can tell how special their autograph books are to them. When I was a kid my parents never let me have one cause they said they were too expensive. I’ll be getting my DD one before we leave on her first trip so she can have that same fun!
I bought both my sons their mickey ears on their 1st trip to Disney (with their name stitched on the back, of course!). They brought them to the character spot at Epcot and had the fab 5 sign them. We have them on a shelf in their bedroom and they look so neat signed. It’s my favorite keepsake from our trips :)
That’s a really neat idea! A little girl in front of us in line for the Princesses had a custom made pillowcase she had the princesses sign. Things like that are such neat keepsakes!

I love these. It makes me so excited for when we get to go. Ours got postponed a little because of my father-in-laws house fire, we have been using our savings to help him. But we will be back on track soon.

Great pictures of the kids with the Fab 5!
These pictures bring back a ton of great memories for me. We have been fortunate to take family vaca to Disney yearly for the past 12 years. My kids are now 22, 19 and 15 and still love it. When we 1st started going, they were all about the characters. Now, not so much but have the fast pass system down to a science. And its the 1 week of the year that they jump out of bed bright and early without complaint. This past week my 15 yr old son said, “Why was it so easy to get up @ 5am in June @ Disney and so dreadful to get up @ 5am in Dec. in IL for swim practice over Christmas break?” Haha!

EPCOT is a definite favorite in our house! And we LOVE the Seas and Turtle Talk! We ate at the restaurant there also and enjoyed every last bite! It’s so fun to re-live our fun times through your posts!
We’re really looking forward to turtle talk with crush, too! My 3-year-old loves all turtles and I think she’ll freak for this!
EPCOT is our favorite! My boys loved the Kim Possible Adventure and DH and i loved “eating” our way around the World as they played!
I LOVE reading your posts! We are going on our first trip in August, I know, HOT, HOT, HOT, but, it is my daughter’s 5th birthday. (Reservations already made for Animal Kingdom Lodge) And we are very closely following your advise! (We tightened our budget drastically and already have $500 saved- Just from found money and money “almost” spent!) Thank you so much for creating this site! I gives me something to keep me motivated!
I’m doing the same thing! Our trip is in 75 days!! My girls (7 & 9) are soooo excited— but not as excited as ME!
My daughter does not know we are going, I think I am even going to do the balloon thing the day we leave. :)

Oh! I miss that. We didn’t get to do that in Nov. because my son and husband were into trading pins. That takes up a lot of time. I missed the characters!

How fun! The characters are definitely the highlight of the trips for us too. It’s fun while the kids are still mesmerized by them :) Though, both trips we’ve taken to Disney in the last two years we’ve never been to the Epcot character spot. I guess we’ve always seen them before we go to Epcot. Looks fun!!
Oh, and definitely test out the Segways at Innoventions West! A little extra fun for the adults (and more difficult than you think!).

Turtle Talk was so fun when we were there in November. Crush talked to my 7 year old and taught him how to say “Totally Sweet”!
My kids love Turtle Talk too. I remember after we left there for the rest of the day everything was “Totally Sweet”
