I work with Destinations in Florida as a vacation specialist, and one of my favorite aspects of my job is helping people plan their vacations. I love traveling, especially to Disney, and now I get to help families make magical memories with their own travel! Part of a magical Disney experience is enjoying the special events that the Disney Parks offer during the holiday season. Today, I’m going to share with you some FAQs and answers about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
FAQ #1: I have tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Do I have to leave the park and re enter for the party?
If you are already in Magic Kingdom for the day you have party tickets, no you don’t. Around 4:00 pm, you’ll start to see Cast Members walking around handing out wristbands for the party. Simply show them your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket, and they’ll give you a wristband. Then, you can continue to enjoy the Magic Kingdom and take part in the Christmas party festivities!
FAQ #2: What is the Osborne Festival of Lights, and when does it start?
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights is a spectacular light show that is synchronized to music. It takes place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The buildings along the Streets of America are wrapped and decorated in glimmering Christmas lights. When the music starts, the lights start “dancing”. It is so beautiful and definitely worth taking the time to enjoy.
FAQ #3: If I’m at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and I need to leave the park for a dining reservation, or just to go back to the resort, can I re enter?
YES! You can leave and re enter the Magic Kingdom as much as you like with your Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ticket.
FAQ #4: Can adults dress in costume to trick or treat at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
Absolutely! In fact, many families choose a “theme” such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Incredibles, or even pirates and mermaids. Adults and kid are encouraged to dress in costume and trick or treat. It makes it that much more fun!
FAQ #5: Can I buy my tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party when I arrive at the Magic Kingdom?
Yes, you can buy them at the park. However, many nights of the parties sell out, so it’s a good idea to secure your tickets before leaving home.
