Disney has just dropped first photos of a reimagined room from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
Do you see the inspiration from Disney’s Moana? Guests will find colors inspired by the Pacific Ocean inside the newly remodeled rooms, and characters from Moana! Additionally, guests will find all-new fixtures and furnishings. In the bathrooms, Disney Imaginners added carved details and a sandy ocean floor inspiration in the tiles.

I just have to comment, call it a vent if you will. Between Epcot and the resorts, I am really not liking how they are just promoting the Disney movies with each change they make. Epcot used to make me feel like I was traveling the world. Because I would never be able to afford such a trip, it was just heavenly to go to Epcot, because you could really just lose yourself in the architecture, food, gift shops and entertainment in each country! Now, they just seem to be turning it into a new kind of Hollywood Studios. Norway is only about Frozen, Mexico changed their ride to be the three Caballeros, Now France with Ratatouille. They are, to me anyway, losing their charm they once held. Now it’s just all marketing. So with the Polynesian become so Moana-centric, I am disappointed, because again, it was the one escape in Florida, where you could get away and really feel like you were in Hawaii, and surround yourself with their culture, but now it’s going to be just about the movie and the characters in the movie, sheesh, even into the room decor.
It’s just overkill and they seem so money hungry, that they have to push their movies every where you turn. That makes Disney not as magical for me!
Wow love it
