The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros in Epcot is located inside the pyramid in the Mexico Pavillion in Epcot. The ride features the characters from Disney’s 1944 The Three Caballeros. You board a boat that navigates between the Mayan pyramid and the San Angel Inn restaurant and on into the Three Caballeros story. The 3 of them were scheduled to perform at a fiesta, but of course Donald has gone missing. Throughout the ride, Panchito and Jose try to locate Donald so that they can perform together in Mexico city at end of the ride.
Length of Ride: 7:45
Height Requirement: None; any age can ride.
Scare Factor: It does have some darkly lit moments, but there is nothing I would say is very scary.
Rider Swap: Available at this attraction. Just let the Cast Member know that you would like to do a Rider Swap when you enter the line.
Weather Procedure: Indoors so it is open in rainy weather.
Ride Photo: No.
Flash Photography: The ride isn’t too dark, so I wouldn’t see there being an issue using flash on this ride. Just make sure you aren’t inconveniencing other guests.
Queue: Boring and uneventful.
Extra Magic Hours: Open for evening magic hours only.
Fastpass: None.
When to Ride: Anytime. The ride is rarely over 5 minutes long.
Our Touring Strategy: If we see the ride is long, we will spend time browsing the shops. We have never had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes for this ride, no matter what time of the day we have visited!
Secrets/Tips and Tricks:
- Panchito is the only character from Mexico. Donald comes from the United States and Jose is from Brazil.
- Look up at the end of the ride as the fireworks are going off.
- Try to spot a Donald pinata.

We love this ride, it is still one of our favorites actually, but a couple years ago when we were on it the boat bumped the boat in front of us kind of hard and my daughter got pitched forward and hit her face on the pad in front of us and got a fat lip….so be careful with your little kiddos on that ride.
My son loves this ride. We have dinner reservations at the restaurant inside the pyramid on Christmas Day this year!! So excited!
