My Updates
No Dining Out: Took the kids to Chickfila yesterday so they could play (it’s our only restaurant with an indoor play place). I used a bunch of coupons and fed the 4 of us for $12. My hubby bought an ice cream sundae and they gave him a FREE milkshake because he had to wait so long on the sundae (cookies were cooking).
Budget Challenge:Â Doing great sticking to the budget! I love that I know exactly where my money is going.
Declutter Challenge: Hubby and I finished cleaning up the house yesterday. It is sparkling!
Minniemizing: I did really well yesterday. Hubby offered me a bite of his sundae twice before he finally got the message that I can not eat it and I did not want to eat it. I didn’t give in. Yay me!
NDO – no dining out yesterday. I went through the McDs drive thru to get a free Cherry Berry Chiller but their machine was down. I didn’t even order anything else just drove off.
B – would like to set down and go over this with a fine tooth comb.

No Dining Out: We’re tired, don’t have much food… and so ready to eat. Needless to say, my boyfriend is out getting us some burgers. D’oh!
Budget Challenge: Well, there have been some bills that ended up being higher than expected. Plus, I had to dish out an extra $45 to pay for the replaced thermostat at my apartment. Ugh. On the plus side, I actually have a credit on some of my bills from paying a little more last month. Oh! I added $40 to my Disney fund today! My sister owed me money and I figured I should just put it in the fund. :)
Declutter Challenge: Boyfriend cleaned up the place really well today. We’re going to do more in a big way tomorrow because my son’s therapist is coming over. We kind of don’t have a choice, lol.
Minniemizing: I ate ice cream with chocolate candy on it today and as you saw above, I am about to eat a cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Minor slip up. ;) I’ll get back into the grind when I get more money on June 9th. That’s when my grocery shopping starts and I can make some healthier choices. :D
No dining out: all meals at home
Decluttering: sold a stroller, 2 pairs of shoes, and one dress to resale shop. This past weekend yard sale was huge help in getting rid of clutter!
Budget: trying to keep it tight
Minnemizing: none
NDO- DH brought his lunch yesterday and we did great and came home for lunch after church on Sun.
Budget- It’s tight,but going ok.
Declutter- Deleted some emails and threw some papers away.
Minniemize- You are doing so well! Are you allowed any sweets on the plan then? That is what is so hard for me. That and feeling hungry. Making good food choices except again my daily dessert-this time a bowl of ice cream with hot fudge sauce.
Budget: Finally found the MM Brainstrong Q today and bought one.
Declutter: Went through paper piles at work and filed and trashed several. My husband helped me wash dishes hooray!
NDO: Stopped by the grocery store and Wags after work, bought grapes for $1/# and eggs for $1.29 a dozen and had those for dinner.
Minniemize – juice fast for lunch since my stomach isn’t acting right and long walk this morning.
minniemizing- Went for a hike today for an hour with my husband. Had a great chat with him, lifted my spirits and got some exercise.
Budget- the toughest yet, everything seems to be breaking down, but we’re doing ok with it.
Declutter- got a bag so far to go out for donations and my old printer. more to come.
NDO: I like to call this “Kickin’ the Fast Food Habit Challenge” ;) Yesterday was day #1 of no dining out at all :D The only “delivery” we had was our scheduled Full Circle produce. Yuuuuum.
Budget: We are lookin’ good. Staying on track. Discussed canceling said Full Circle membership as the local Farmers Market opens tomorrow! Let’s see how far I can stretch $28 there on organic produce.
Declutter: Put away laundry & out of that came 2 pairs of pants that are a wee too small for my smallest. *sigh* They grow so fast….
Minnimizing: There was none of that, unfortunately. I made “good” (not GREAT! but good) choices yesterday. Apple for breakfast. Popcorn for lunch (LOL.. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day) & organic black-bean mango chili with gluten free cornbread for dinner. That was pretty yummy too.
Minniemizing: No workouts today, but I haven’t ate any snacks or junk food which is an improvement ;)
Budget: I’ve spent no money. the bf is working an insane amount of hours today, and I can’t shop without the debit card and a car.

NDO – I’m working a book fair this week and had to set up as soon as husband got home (we share a car), but instead of totally going out to eat as usual, he brought home burgers and we had drinks and chips from home. If you’re going to eat out, this way is much cheaper!!
Declutter: Took a bag of junk from playroom to the curb.
Budget – Just usual first-of-month bargain stockpiling shopping. I think that for the first time in my life, we have enough of most all non-perishable items to make it for about 2 months. Thank you, couponing!
Minniemizing: Doing much better with my food choices, but need to further cut out snacking.
ndo: none yesterday
budget: doing fine so far.
declutter: continuing to add to it as we get closer to moving day!
minniemizing: sticking to my calorie goals and got some jog/walking in yesterday.
NDO – none yesterday
Budgeting – refilled the food envelope. Now to stick with the budget.
Minniemize – Went to Walking Club and actually ran some!
Declutter – had son remove his school stuff from our kitchen table.
Minniemizing: I started a trial 60 minute cardio/strength-training class… at 5:30 in the morning!!! I’m sore in places I didn’t know I even had muscles.

Minniemizing: Had my weigh-in last night and am now down 14 pounds in 7 weeks! I still have a long way to go, but I feel like I’ll enjoy summer so much more even being that much lighter.
NDO: Fail. Went out dinner after standing up for good friends at their wedding at the courthouse. That killed the budget a bit, but it was fun for hubby & I to be out without kids for once.
Budget: We’ll scrape by now with that dinner by the skin of our teeth!
Declutter: Cleaned house yesterday and unpacked a bit from our trip.
Minniemizing: No gym and too much eating is scary. Glad I didn’t step on the scale today! ;)
Decluttering: This aspect has been challenging; it seems like there is more coming in everyday than going out.
Budget: Spent $20.19 at the grocery store last night, and I’m thinking that carries us through the rest of the week. Other than that, no money spent this month so far.
No Dining Out: None for us…I made veggie melts and sweet potato fries for an easy dinner. Also prepped tacos so they’re ready to go for tonight.
Minniemizing: 2 mile walk and sweating all day since its so hot here in North Central Florida……..
Decluttering: bag of clothes that my DGD3 has outgrown (to local thrift store). The 3T size is too little and the 4T is too big…….plus I got rid of some of her winter pj’s.
Kristin, way to go on not eating even a bite of the sundae! That’s a very hard temptation to resist!

Budget: went to the grocery store yesterday and only spent half of our weekly budget. We do need to stock up on meats, so we will probably end up spending the remainder, but it was a nice feeling a. paying in cash and b. walking out of there under budget!
Declutter: I went through all my daughters games and puzzles yesterday and got rid of anything with broken/missing pieces and put all the games together and the puzzles together (they were all scattered about).
Minniemizing starts tomorrow!
NDO-no dining out for us! I really felt like going to lunch, but instead made some really good cheese enchiladas, better than the restaurant!

Minniemizing: Even though I was really tired after work and it was super hot outside, I went with my fiance and the dogs for a 3 mile walk… yayy me!

Yesterday I spent the day decluttering the kitchen & hallway closet. I was able to create enough space in the closet for my laundry detergent stock and get it off of my kitchen counter! Now I actually have room to prepare meals! Haha! I even cleaned up the junk drawer. Today’s plan is to tackle the computer desk and filing cabinet.
NDO- packed lunch and went home for dinner. Yea me
Budget- got cash out this week. So far sp god. Got great deals at target this week thoug so now I’m not sure ill make it LOL!
Mimimizing- went for an hour walk last night and ate carefully
NDO: great day focused on all day eating in and it totally worked for us!

NDO: Hubby and I had a long anticipated anniversary weekend away. My parents watched the kids and we had a lovely trip. We ate out 4 times this weekend (breakfast was included at our hotel) and it was worth every penny. :) Today is back to the real world of planning and cooking meals…
Minniemize: Hubby and I did lots of walking on our trip this weekend, and I tried to at least keep an eye on portion size.
Decluttering: nothing

Ndo-Epic fail. I ate out breakfast and lunch but I did only spend $6 total.
Budget-Signed up kids for parks and rec and the cost was $60 less then I budgeted for. Woot Woot!!

Minimize-No time for a workout yesterday so getting ready for a 3 to 6 mile run this a.m.

Finally got some items listed on ebay for sale in my quest to declutter. Also finished putting away our luggage, etc. from our trip.

Budget: staying on budget so far this week. Actually made a little money yesterday too (younger son was asking for a certain video game, which I budgeted for. Found out it was on sale for $20.00 cheaper and if I also reserved a future 2012 game for $1.00, I earned a $10.00 gift card!! The added bonus is when I go to pick up the reserved game in 2 months with the reservation card, I will earn another $5.00 gift card!!! YAY Target!!! Thanks for giving me $30.00 for my Disney fund yesterday!!)
Decluttering: did some house cleaning yesterday but no decluttering….that will all change today, the house painters are coming on Thursday.
Minniemizing: again, nothing yesterday, but it has made me feel so bad about myself that I am definitely walking and lifting some weights today!!!
NDO: didn’t eat out
Budget: returned some items & took advantage of the free redbox, so I feel like I “made” $ yesterday
Declutter: nothing, but have been keeping house in good order

No Dining Out: Made chicken fried rice for dinner even though I really didn’t feel like cooking.
Budget Challenge: On track so far in the month. Tomorrow is our anniversary so we have budgeted to go out to a nice dinner.
Declutter Challenge: Got the entire kitchen cleaned up and everything put away where it needed to go.
