Here are a few pictures from our trips in 2011.
And here is a fun little questionaire for you to answer about Epcot:
1. What is your favorite attraction in Future World?
2. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?
3. What is your favorite food to eat in Epcot?
4. What is your favorite tip for touring Epcot?
5. If you were in Epcot today, what would you be doing at this very second?
My favorite Future World attraction would have to be Soarin’….hands down.
My favorite country is Germany because I’m German. Also, I love the Biergarten there. The entertainment and food are fantastic.
My all-time favorite food would be from Le Cellier. The cheese soup is amazing, and my favorite entree is the filet and mushroom risotto. Yum!
A tip for touring is to wear your walking shoes. Epcot is very spread out.
If I were there right now, I would be partaking in the 30th anniversary festivities by trying to catch one of the “performances” by Marty Sklar.
1.I love Soarin.
2.Japan is my fave country in WS.
3.The cheese soup from Le Cellier AND anything from the Patisserie!! :)
4. Take TWO days to see Epcot
5.Eating or riding Soarin’!
1. What is your favorite attraction in Future World? Mission:Space or Spaceship Earth. I like Test Track but not sure about all the new updates.
2. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase? I really love Norway, Canada, and Morocco.
3. What is your favorite food to eat in Epcot? The school bread in the Norwegian bakery!
4. What is your favorite tip for touring Epcot? If you have the chance, go on the Behind the Seeds tour at Living With the Land. You can sign up on the spot, it is fairly cheap, and you get so much information and a snack. It was one of the best things we did. Our favorite thing was spreading ladybugs on the plants and tasting the fresh cucumber.
5. If you were in Epcot today, what would you be doing at this very second? I would probably be in the France pavilion.
Favorite attraction – probably Test Track, but I also love the boat ride in Mexico! My kids crack up at Donald Duck. And I love the giant aquarium in the Living Seas.
Favorite country – Germany – and I admit this is because I love that caramel shop! I also love taking silly pictures with the troll in Norway
Favorite food – we ate at Biergarten this last trip and it was really good! I love the caramel corn and caramel apples in Germany, too.
Tip – if you have kids be sure to visit the Kidcot stations – I will admit sometimes I got tired of coloring Duffy the bear, but all in all, it made World Showcase much more enjoyable for the kiddos and my son took his bear with all the greetings in for show and tell when we got back from our trip.
If I was there now – I’d be snacking my way through the World Showcase.
1 favorite attraction–Mission:Space; this is one of the few thrill rides my non-thrill-ride son loves.
2 favorite country–China; I love the architecture, acrobats and food.
3 favorite food–“The American Dream” slushie & ice cream concoction at the American pavilion’s Fife & Drum Tavern (drink cart)
4 tip–Even if everyone in your group is adults, try an “Agent P” WS mission.
5 2:30… I’d be heading over to WS after doing the highlights of FW.
Thanks, Kristin! It’s been fun & restful to take a few minutes to think about this!
1. What is your favorite attraction in Future World?
Definitely Test Track! Soarin’ is a definite close second.
2. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?
American Adventure. I love hearing the Voices of America sing and I love going up the escalators and seeing all the flags. The entire experience of this is really great.
3. What is your favorite food to eat in Epcot?
I don’t know if you would count it as food necessarily, but my family loves getting the shaved ice at Japan.
4. What is your favorite tip for touring Epcot?
Definitely explore all the countries. It’s really an awesome experience getting to see all the countries and what they have to offer without having to travel there. :) Not saying that going to any of these countries in real life is bad, obviously, but for those who can’t do such trips all the time it’s nice.
5. If you were in Epcot today, what would you be doing at this very second?
Going on a ride of course! :)
1. I love Turtle Talk with Crush, I think it is just the cutest thing ever!
2. Morocco is my favorite country in the World Showcase. I absolutely love Shawarmas and love the little fez hats….BUT I also love the alcoholic drinks in France (i.e. Grey Goose Slush and champagne!)
3. Again – Shawarmas!
4. Stop and try the slush in France!
5. I wish I was at Epcot today! I would definitely be trying some of the samples from the different kiosks at International Food & Wine Festival!
1. Soarin’ then Test Track

4. Spend more than one day there, and if you are traveling with someone who uses a cane or crutches get an ECV or a Wheelchair, they will thank you for it later!
5. I would be in Japan or Germany shopping. :)
1. Teat Trank hands down! Then Soarin’
2. Mexico then Morocco

4. What is your favorite tip for touring Epcot? Get there before rope drop so you can ride Soarin and Test Track without much wait.
5. If you were in Epcot today, what would you be doing at this very second? I would be riding Finding Nemo!
Happy Birthday EPCOT! Wish I was there now….
1. What is your favorite attraction in Future World?
Has to be Test Track, but Soarin’ is a very close second. Can’t wait to see the new version of TT! The Land also has a special place in my heart. We can easily ride it 3 times in a row….love the sights and smells there. :)
2. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?
Germany is my favorite, mainly because of all the wonderful treats.
3. What is your favorite food to eat in Epcot?
Anything from Karamel Kuche in Germany. Via Napoli also has AMAZING pizza and zeppoli’s. :)
4. What is your favorite tip for touring Epcot?
Take your time and enjoy it all…there is SO much to see and do! Also, take the boat to any lunch ADR’s that are in the World Showcase.
5. If you were in Epcot today, what would you be doing at this very second?
I’d be watching the Nemo show right now, after already riding TT, Soain’ and Mission Space.
Favorite attraction in epcot is a tie between test track and soarin.
Favorite Country is Italy (mostly because I’m Italian) but Germany and France are also right up there.
Favoirte Food..hmmm…I love the creme brule in Fance and the Grand marnier slushies they have there too. I LOVE going during Food and WIne festival! So much good food!!
Just relax, and try new things. World showcase is mostly a set your own pace place with a lot of wondering looking at stores and eating. (two of my favorite things) have your kids talk to the people who work there. It’s fun to see where they come from and what they do in thier country.
What would I be doing now? Hmmm…lets see….probably eating…lol Since it is about 915 maybe taking the kids on a few rides before the world showcase opens and we can hit the food booths!!!
I like the Character Spot the best in Future World and the boat ride in Norway the best. Not so much a favorite food but foods – LOVE to eat in Germany! The music is a great bonus! Wear comfortable shoes – it’s ALOT of walking!!! If I were in Epcot right now I would be…smiling :-)
1. What is your favorite attraction in Future World?
Mission Space for sure with TestTrack as the runner up!
2. What is your favorite country in the World Showcase?
Germany! Can’t wait to get a nice cold beer here!
3. What is your favorite food to eat in Epcot?
Seasons is a great place to eat with a quick service dining plan credit. The food there is delicious! Love the pork chop meal!
4. What is your favorite tip for touring Epcot?
Pick up the Phineas and Ferb phone and have an adventure in one of the countries. You may discover something you haven’t seen before in Epcot!
5. If you were in Epcot today, what would you be doing at this very second?
Checking out our favorite rides in the Land. Love the boat ride, the living seas, and Journey into Imagination with Figment!
