How cute! Reminds me of past trips, and why a WDW vacation really is so magical. It’s all the little things. :) And I bet Minnie was watching Disney cartoons!
When my kids were younger, they would leave the parks willingly to head back for afternoon naps when we would remind them that there may be a surprize in the room for them. We tipped daily and left in it in labeled envelope with a big thank you!
Ok i am so loving the towel displays that they are doing. We have not been to disneyworld yet. we have a 4 year old and she has been to disneyland 5 times. do you think she is ready for disney world? I am loving all of the photos and the stuff that you are doing there. so very exciting
That is so neat! I would love to stay there next time we go to Disney! Unfortunately since we are trying to buy a house it will probably be a while, but at least I can look at your pictures and pretend I’m there! My little girl has that same Minnie mouse. Last year when we went I took my 13 month old into a store while the boys rode the Barnstormer and she instantly fell in love with that stuffed Minnie.
We tipped each day b/c you might have different mousekeepers each day. The kids decorated envelopes before wde left and we took them with us already “stuffed” so we were ready each day. Didn’t get surprises each day but it madee it more magical when we did.
One time our housekeeper made my sons animals a pool on the bed using a clear trash bag and towels surrounding it…Some of the animals were tanning on extra towels etc…it was very cute!
Ok, I have to admitt we have never tipped. Honestly I was not aware! Guess we will be making that change when we go again. Do you leave it in an envelope? I feel bad now. We were always treated great though, and got some towel animals and different positioning of things.
We had a great lady in November, she left us surprises every day. We loved racing back to the room to discover our surprises. I tipped her five dollars a day and left her a quick note thanking her daily. She made our stay!!!
Wow they left you all that for free?! That’s awesome! I’ll definitely be staying at a disney hotel next time. I was not very happy with the resort that we stayed at instead. Glad you guys are having so much fun!
We get the “animals” and some little touches, but nothing like you have gotten..now when we stayed at AKL last year they were in the middle of a towel animal contest..Mousekeepers made an animal and submitted them..some of them were crazy..we even came across one in the hall that was finishing a butterfly and handed it to my daughter..she didn’t even clean our room (we, uhm borrowed that one)..lol…I am glad you tip them..most times people don’t..do you leave it each day or just at the end of your stay?
So cute! I wish we would have stayed at Disney last time we went, but Step-Grandpa’s free condo was much cheaper. Glad you guys are having so much fun!
Love the mousekeeping!
That is so cute! Your mousekeepers have a great sense of humor.
Too Funny!!!

So what was Minnie watching? Soap operas? Cooking shows? CNN?

Towel creations are cute. I tried to make some of my own for my daughter’s birthday. I could only make a crab. ;)

Is that BLUE??? Awww, Blue at Disney. :)
Ah so sweet!
So love when they set up their ‘babies’ doing things!!
How much to you tip “Mousekeeping” each night??? We are going in May and I want to know what the “appropriate” amount would be.
We tip Mousekeeping $5 a day. I read that it is etiquette to tip $1 per person plus $1 extra.
Oh thats cute!
