Below is the organizer where I keep my rebate forms. The numbers indicate the month. 7 is for July, etc. I put all the forms that expire in July in that slot. This makes it easy to access and keeps me aware of how long I have to complete the requirements of the rebate.
Below is where I organize my receipts. I have a slot for each store I normally shop at. I organize the receipts first by store and then by date. (This is easy. Just stick the new ones in the back.) I save all my receipts for at least 3 months, sometimes longer.
This is where I organize my receipts for the NBPR rebates that I do. There is a slot for receipts that contain soda purchases, receipts with soda and meat, receipts with produce, receipts with produce and meat/soda, receipts with beef, receipts with pork, receipts with poultry, receipts with misc meat, etc. Most NBPR are good on meat, soda and produce purchases and it makes it easy on me to keep the receipts separate so they are easy to get to when I find a new rebate.

Thank you so much for sharing about how you organize your rebates! I am really wanting to learn how to do rebates now to start saving even more. I am able to take an extra room we have now and turn it into our office. I am having one desk and area for me and my coupons and looking forward to organizing it. One thing I espeically want to do is start gathering and organizing rebates, and using them to my and my family’s advantage. Hope to read more about how you do your rebates! Thanks so much for your wonderful blog! It’s a favorite of mine.

I haven’t thought to keep these things organized, or even keep them. Usually when a rebate comes along, i just hold onto it, and then do the rebate that weekend to submit. I haven’t been in the game long though.

What about UPCs? I’ve noticed recently that many beer rebates are requiring UPCs for meat and produce. Do you cut, save and match up UPCs with receipts in the hope you’ll find a need for them???
I simply keep all current rebate forms on my desk. When coupons or a deal surfaces to complete them, off they go.

I like your articles. We have a lot in common! I save all of my receipts to, in an accoridan file. I have all of last years saved, and this years too. When a new year comes up, I go through the old one and toss them (except for high purchases). I need to organize my receipts. I was going to tonight until I started blogging. The blogging gets so addicting! I better go to bed soon so I can get to church in the morning! I do love keeping my receipts though because I do make returns often on things I didn’t really need. Thanks for sharing! BTW–I just sealed my Kraft rebate tonight when I did my bills! Got $10.00 back!
