You can save money at Rainforest Cafe with coupons, clubs and more. There are 2 Rainforest Cafes located in Walt Disney World. One is located outside the Animal Kingdom and one is located at Downtown Disney. Both location are part of the Disney dining plan and they take coupons!
Here are some great ways to save at the Rainforest Cafe:
Pick up Rainforest Cafe coupons on eBay. I often see coupons for cheap or free kids meals on there.
Join the Landry’s Select Club. This club is valid at Rainforest Cafe and it offers $25 worth of FREE food if you dine during your birthday month! We have used this club and it really works!
My Points has a $50 Rainforest Cafe gift card that you can earn. You receive points for each email you read, shop through them for bonus points, complete surveys and special offers for more points and you can even print your Coupons.com and Smartsource.com coupons through them for even more points!
SwagBucks has a $25 Rainforest Cafe card that you can earn for 2,500 Swag Bucks. You earn points just by searching online so it’s an easy way to earn a gift card!
Learn more about all the Disney Deals you can use to pay for your next trip. Also my friends at Destinations in Florida can help you find Disney Vacation Deals.
How exactly does the birthday thing work. My birthday is November 14. Would the gift card be good for all of November or for a month after your birthday? I would like to use it Dec 8th.
If your travelling with someone 50+ and they are a member of AARP you get a discount too

we also ate atTrex at teh begining of our trip and racked up enough points for $25 off when we went to Yak and Yeti later. There were 8 of us and we got a couple things in the gift shop.
Bummer……could have used that coupon 2 weeks ago when we were there. :(
We will be traveling in October this year, but we don’t have any of the other restaurants listed for the Landry’s Select Club in our town. Wonder if it’s worth it for just one trip (6 of us). I wish it was my birthday month too…..:(
We did, although we do have a kinda close one to us (RFC in CHicago is about an hour away) We were safari members and then changed over to the new Landrys club. Is any of your birthdays in Oct? You could put the card under that person? That is what we did the last time with my moms. It doesn’t really cost you anything since you get the $25 bucks back, and I’m not sure the points expire. It also gives you a percent off your purchase in the shops and I thought on your bill too. Not 100% sure about the second one though.
I have the select club card and we waited in July in a very long long line-suddenly they were yelling for reservations or those who had club cards–I told them I had a club card and they moved me to the front of the line and said to stand in the other line which was pretty long too. So figured I’d have an hour or so wait–NOPE they moved us straight to the front and we went on in. It was wonderful VIP service!!!!
Rainforest Cafe is on the dining plan since the beginning of the year. We ate there in July at Downtown Disney with no problem!
I’m pretty sure RFC is on the dining plan now, bur I’d you’re nor using it these are great tips.
What you said was incorrect. My family and I stayed at Bay Lake Tower from August 26th to September 2nd. We got the Disney deluxe dining plan and we ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney. We were allowed one appetizer, ANY entree on the menu, one desert and one soda. It only cost one credit, where some of the higher end meals cost 2 credits. We also found a trick about the meal plan that I would share offline.
I want to know. The trick about the meal plan! :)
Please reply!!!
The one outside animal kingdom took DDP when we were there last week.
We just went to Disney a few weeks ago and the Rainforest Cafe was on the Dining Plan.
Thanks for your input! We made a reservation with RC for our trip and will be using the dining plan. I was seriously freaking out sitting here reading all the comments that they DON’T accept it! I thought we made a mistake.
We have booked our 2nd Disney trip for May 2013….6 nights. This is our 1st trip using the dining plan. Didn’t realize Rainforest was not included with it. Do you suggest the dining plan? Is there a list of restaurants that are excluded? Thanks!
The dining plan now includes both Rainforest locations. This is a repost from 2012 (I believe) and WDW added a lot of new restaurants in 2012 to the dining plan. Here is a list of the restaurants included in the dining plan http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/media/wdw_nextgen/CoreCatalog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2012Dining.pdf . I have reservations for Rainforest for next week and am using the dining plan. For me, it seems worth the money, as we are having lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table (photo package, tip, and gratuity included), lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet (photo package included, too), lunch at Rainforest Cafe, and lunch/dinner at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. Because we have 6 people in our party, we will receive 2 of the photo packages at CRT and Akershus. I got the free Quick Service dining plan deal and opted to upgrade it to the one with 1 table service, 1 quick service, and 1 snack per night. It only cost $300 extra for 6 of us, so I find that to be worth it, especially for the experiences we will be getting from it.
Hope this info helps you!
Thank you so much. That definitely helps.
Thank ya, thank ya. I reposted this from 2011 with updated info and I meant to check to see if they had added it to the dining plan and I did not (kiddos had the stomach bug all weekend and my mind is not 100%). Thanks for letting me know. :)
Looks like the 15% off is for merchandise and not food? Am I wrong?
I also used my Discover Card rewards to get a $50 Rainforest Cafe gift certificate. My husband loves that place!
love rfc
Thanks for the info. I never knew they had a reward program for children. We go there for the VOLCANO dessert! Rainforest Cafe @ Animal Kingdom is a MUST for our family. Hopefully, Disney will add them to their meal plan one day! We should all write Disney about this!lol
I was just telling my mom yesterday that i am can almost change in my mypoints points for the gift card for when we go. I have the reading chart for my daughter as well. we are all set! You have never heard of anyone having a problem using those rewards for the kids meal at Animal Kingdom before have you?
I haven’t heard of any problems…
Thanks!!
Great info. I had no idea!
thanks for the rewards charts for the 99 cent kids meals. We are going to the location in Detroit area for a day trip and these will help as kids meals are sooo pricey there!
We just ate at the Rainforest Cafe in the Mall of America in MN last weekend. Wish I would have known about the kids discount…the place is definately not cheap! :(
Thanks for the tips! I just got a $50 Rainforest Cafe gift card from my Discover Card cashback bonus and the 99 cent kids meals will help that go even further!
We are going to Disney without the dining plan in May. Saw these earlier and plan to eat at Rainforest. Something we’ve always wanted to do, but haven’t bc they don’t accept dining plan. Excited!
I need to add one more option. Get the Landry Select card. This is a club card that works at all Landry restaurants. The club card is especially good if you happen to live in a city with a Landry Restaurant. It costs $25, but you get a $25 reward for your next visit. Also on your birthday every year you get another $25 reward. You earn rewards as you eat at their different places. I bought it one month and my birthday was the next month and also happened to be when we would be at Disney World. So I was able to get $50 off my first meal I used the card.
you were able to use both $25 rewards on the same meal ticket? I’m asking because your situation is what is going to be happening to our family in May. I have a eating at the Rainforest Cafe in Disneyland the first night we are there but it is also my birthday month. so if I sign up for the rewards card our meal would basically be half off? Since it cost $25 to get the reward card?
Also at RFC (Rainforest Cafe) that have Build-A-Bear inside there retail village you can use Build-A-Bear “Stuff for Stuff” reward certificates to pay for Build a bear clothes, accessories or animals…can make for a cute cheep souvenir as they have cute rainforest theme Build-A-Bear clothes and animals…
thanks for this info!! great!
I have just enough points to cash in the for the $50 Landry’s card. We already have reservations at Trex for our September trip! Yay for free meals at Disney!!
Landry’s restaurants.com also had a few Rainforest Cafe coupons that could be printed. They had some for both the gift shop and meals. Hope this helps someone out.
Saving for Rain Forest Cafe on my points as well, was trying to decide what to get from there. Since I am couponing to disney for next year, maybe I can get 2 of these and go to both T-rex and Rainforest Cafe!
Though they are on Disney property, the Rainforest Cafe is not part of the Disney Meal Plans, so these tips are great!
Thanks for telling me about this. We will have to print out the charts.
This is great info! I’m glad to see that they apply to the T-Rex Cafe too! Definitely worth doing!
I never knew about the reward charts-thanks so much!
Thanks, I did not know that. My son loves to go to the Rainforest Cafe at Down town Disney. We are currently doing the my points for the gift card.
Saving for Rainforest Cafe gift card(s) on MyPoints!
Good tips! I was disappointed because the Rainforest cafe is not included in the dining plan.
I cant recall what that regular card cost?
Great tips! Thanks!
We went to the one outside of Animal Kingdom on our first trip down. The kids loved it!
The Safari club is good at T-Rex also. We bought a card & they even let us use the discount on that same meal. Then we got an email reward that we used on our next trip along with the discount. This card paid for itself and more in only 2 meals.
We all love Rainforest Cafe as well. It is a place we go every time we go home for a visit.
Do they have a rainforest cafe at Disneyland? I will use this info when I go to Disney World but we are going to Disneyland first.
Yes there is one at Disneyland! Rainforest Cafe is actually the only restaurant to have a location at ever Disney Park around the world! (I worked for RFC for 10 years!)
Yes! There is one in downtown Disney across from the ESPN zone!
Yes Sara, T-rex is owned by the same parent company. The GC you earn at Mypoints can be used there. DD and I were down in Orlando when T-rex opened in 2008. We now make that our first meal the night we arrive. I have earned enough each time for our meals to be free from Mypoints.
What a timely post. Last night I was finalizing some of our dining options for when we go. we decided on 2 meals at RFC and 1 meal at TRex. I had gotten the $50 GC to RFC from Mypoints and I am about to get a $25 one as well. I also received a test drive invitation from Kia and I will get a $25 Landry GC from it. These additional tips you just provided will make these meals so much cheaper. Thanks so much. Also, the closest RFC is 4 hours from here. I won’t be going anytime soon. However, many friends head to San Francisco for weekend trips. Can I have them stop by the RFC to sign me up, or is ID required to sign up for their reward program?
In addition to Rainforest and TRex, the Landry’s gift card from My Points can be used at the Yak and Yeti Restaurant at the Animal Kingdom.
I’ve been wanting to take our little girl there, thanks for all the info!
I was looking for something “Disney related” to cash in my mypoints. Thanks for this tip!
I love tips on how to save on food at disney. It can add up so fast!
Rainforest holds a special place in my heart, as my husband proposed to me at the restaurant :) We like to go there every time, but it gets so expensive. Thanks for the hints on how to get it a little cheaper!!
Thank-You! Thank-You! Thank-You! We’ll definately take advantage of this when we go!
You can use Rainforest Cafe gift cards at T-Rex on food and drink.
My husband and I ate at the downtown disney location and we LOVED it. I had the Plant Burger and it was yummy.
does this also go for Trex? I think I like Rain Forest better thou. Thank you for the great advice!
We love RFC and just went to the one in atlantic city on saturday. we joined as rfc members when we were in disney 2yrs ago and it does pay off. they send tons of coupons, and you have priority seating (great for long wait times and fussy kids) when you are members and you can either get 10% off your bill or a free appetizer. right now its only 10.00 to join instead of 15.00 when we did, but wiht the discounts, our membership as paid for itself. have fun at disney..we are headed there in august.
I love these kinds of rewards programs! Going to check into this now!
Thanks! I didn’t know about this and we have gone there many times!
Thanks for the info! We are planning a Disneyland trip for December and plan on eating at least once at The Rainforest Cafe so this will come in handy.
We try to go to Rainforest Cafe every time we’re at Disney so these tips are great for us. Thanks!
