We love to eat at La Cantina in Mexico and we are always searching for a table. I just learned that there is a TON of indoor seating. Just look for this door.

I have eaten there twice and had food poisoning twice.. ugh! Of course only I got sick- no one else who ate with me. :(
We discovered this on our June trip. It was so nice to get out of the heat and enjoy the cool inside for a while.
It isn’t something they really advertise. We only found out about it because there was not one seat available outside and we asked a CM if there was any seating anywhere else. They took us inside and as I recall there was maybe one or two other parties sitting inside. A few days later, we asked about sitting there again and it was mid afternoon. They said no because it was too close to dinner.
I’m glad to know that it hasnt always been there and I just didn’t realize. Lol
I wish we knew this for our trip in September. It rained minutes before and all we could do was sit on our ponchos..lol. The food was great though!
We were directed there in June. It was great! Nice and cool and quiet, there were only two other families in there.

This is FANTASTIC information! We were at WDW for our first time in September and wanted to eat here. We didn’t because there was no indoor seating. It was hotter than blazes that day and we all just wanted some air. This would have been good to know! We ended up eating at Electric Umbrella that day…. sad. Sad. Sad.
Yes, it is only at lunch because this is a table service restaurant for dinner,
