I wanted to let you know that I have it and I am hanging on to it. I have all the emails I need to reply to safe in a folder in my inbox waiting for me to have the strength to read and reply to them. I cherish them and I will reply. I am just not ready emotionally to do so yet. Your words mean the world to me and I am so thankful you have shared them. Every blog and Facebook comment and every email about my sweet Andrew have (and will) be printed out and saved in Andrew’s memory book. And many, many years from now when Couponing to Disney is a distant memory, I will still have your words to bring me comfort and strength. I am forever indebted to you.
But if you have sent me a question and it got lost in the mix, I am so sorry. Please feel free to ask it here. I will be looking for it and will reply.
Hey Kristin!
First and foremost, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!
I was wondering if you were planning or hoping/trying to comprise a list comparing all the Black Friday & Thanksgiving weekend toy deals like you did last year? That list was SO hopeful last year, so I was just wondering about this year. Of course, totally understand that you have alot going on that is why I said “hoping/trying”. Thank you for all that you do! I love this blog!
I sent you an email yesterday regarding the possibility of your teaching a couponing class at my office in Birmingham. I’m sure you have been busy getting ready for Emily’s surgery, but if you did not receive, please let me know and I will send another email. Thanks.
I got your email. :) I will reply back to you soon and let you know. I don’t really teach classes but I am thinking I might need to start. ;)
Hi K! Just wanted to let you know that I have not received the package you were sending me..(beer bread). I wasn’t sure if you had a tracking number on it. Thanks for all you do! We are headed to Disney next week! Can’t wait. Your tips have help us save a nice bit for the trip. Keep up the great work. God Bless
I sent you an email. :)
My daughter just got an iPod touch. I know you have an iPhone, but aren’t the apps the same? I was wondering what your favorite Apps are!
There are so many available, we just don’t know what to add!
You might want to check this website, http://dealzon.com/
It has several different categories including Apps of all different kinds. Some of the apps are simply free, some are free for a limited time, and the rest are for sale at whatever price the developer has set. Here is the link directly to the Apps section: http://dealzon.com/apps
I hope this helps.
Thanks a bunch Angela! I will check this out right now!
I have every Disney parks app they make. My favorites are Lines and Hidden Mickey. I don’t really use a lot of apps though. I probably should. ;)
I do have a couple questions, so whenever you have time and feel like getting to it, you know, I can wait.
What is the best deal out there on a Wii ? We are always behind on trying new things, and we thought we would finally get one for our family, but I don’t know much about it, or what normally comes with it and what a good deal really is when it comes to the Wii.
2nd Question…I’ve created an online Christmas blog. It has a few items on it right now such as ‘Elf on a Shelf’ and a craft list to get ready for Advent and then come December 1st, will feature an online Advent Calendar for families.
Each day will have a craft or activity. What is the best way to spread the word about the blog? I get nothing out of it (no ads) other than the satisfaction of sharing God’s message of love. Hope you get to check it out as the season progresses. Thanks for any advice, Kristin!
Julie –
The cheapest I have sen the Wii is $179. I don’t know of any place that has it for that price right now… but that is the lowest I have ever seen. Walmart has a 3 game bundle for $230 that looks like a pretty good deal.
For your blog…. email your favorite bloggers and offer to write them a guest post on Christmas crafts etc. They will post it with a link to your blog and it’s free advertising. :) I know I could use one.
I have a question about Disney. We are headed to WDW in 2 weeks and I’m just starting to plan my days. I have the Passporter and the Unofficial Guide, but how do you find out which characters are going to be where? For instance, how did you know when Alice rides the Tea Cups, etc? I have the Verizon app loaded on my phone, but I want to know in advance and the 2 books I have don’t give specifics.
I look at the times guide. It gives you an idea of what time and location all the characters will be at.

That is TOTALLY understandable. Take care!
The other day you had on your site about a Christmas Card swap with your viewer, and I was going to write down the info and got distracted. Could you please guide me to that information again. Thanks
Here’s the link to the post that Kristin did about the card swap: http://www.couponingtodisney.com/2010/11/08/sign-up-for-the-couponing-to-disney-christmas-card-exchange/
Hope that helps!
I have a quick question: with the holidays coming up do you foresee any free photo card offers? Remember last year when we all got free Christmas cards? (I think from See here and I think you got 25 free.) I keep hoping to see that deal come around again!
*Oh and we are officially 30 days away from our Disney Trip thanks to you, Kristin! Thank-you just doesn’t cover how much our family appreciates what you’ve done for us in helping making this trip a reality. We can’t wait!
I don’t necessarily foresee it. I had never seen anything like that in all my years of bargain hunting but it would be nice! :)
Vistaprint has the first 20 picture Christmas cards for $1.99. You have to pay shipping, about $4. If you want 20 more for $1.99 you can place a separate order. Not a bad deal.
I actually did have a question. I am new to getting teachers and bus drivers something for Christmas. So I was hoping you can help me great gift idea with not too much money involved. My son is now in Kindergarten. I appreciate your help.
Thanks
For the past 2 years I have given Emily’s teachers a gift bag full of smell good ideas (Glade Candles, room sprays, etc) that I had gotten for free. It has always been a HUGE hit with them.
last year i got my son’s teacher monogrammed lunch bags from an etsy.com store. they LOVED them. i am also a teacher and though this idea was great. they were around $10 so not expensive..they were personal and thoughtful and something they use every day. i also added a reusable sandwich box and a reusable water bottle. they were cheap (dollar bin at target) the gift was cheap and green. just a thought.
I am a kindergarten teacher and have a kindergartener :) I do not expect gifts but I do appreciate them :) One great thing for teacher is gift cards, if you use SwagBucks you could cash them in and get a Starbucks Gift Card for them. Also, also those freebie label and tote offers can be turned into pretty cool and useful gifts (labels that say : This Book Belongs To…). My son’s teacher loves giraffes so I am going to try and get some with a giraffe on them. My very favorite gift is homemade cards :)
For bus driver: (how nice of you, what a tough job) You could do the GC with Swagbucks or the home made goodie route. For a few teachers I will be making goodie baskets with cookie mix jar (free from Betty Crocker cookie mix), Free hot cocoa, candy bars, gum ect and then a nice note to go with them.
Hope this help! Really anything you do is nice and not expected so don’t feel like you have to go crazy.
Thank you all!!! I did get those magnets from Vistaprint that she can use for her students but now that I think about it, it really isn’t for her huh? I liked all your idea but I guess the easiest is thgift cards. I like on SB you can buy gift cards for other stores on Amazon so I guess Target would bo okay, is it?
No question…just sending love and prayers.
hi there :)
I dont recall how I sent this to you before, or if you got it, but I wanted to let you know of “My Forever Child”. They have a FB site as well as http://myforeverchild.com/ and they are a wonderful website filled with different ways to remember Andrew, including putting his foot prints/ hand prints on a necklace. I think that is one of my favorites. I loved the wall hanging that you did with the prints – thank you for sharing it with us, its beautiful.
God bless you guys!
Oh beautiful! Thanks for letting me know!
