Hello there, ladies and gentlemans, madams and monsieurs, Mickeys and Minnies. I’m in a great mood. The move is over, I’m back on track with grocery shopping and meal planning. Everything is coming up Kristen. So let’s talk Disney fund, shall we?
Far and away, my best earner is Swagbucks. I cash out every month with that site. Pinecone Research, E-poll, Ebates, and Playground Crew are also fairly steady, but I don’t cash out for them as often. I like to let those point totals accrue. Also, the E-poll redemption takes 6 weeks, so I have to be very strategic about that one. What I like to think of as my “grocery apps”-Ibotta, Fetch Rewards, Find & Save, Checkout 51, Saving Star, and Receipt Hog, take longer to get to cash out levels, since I don’t buy a lot of name brand, shelf stable stuff. I cash those out once or twice a year. And guess what? The time has come to cash out.
That’s right, December is a big month for me because I cash out alllllll my apps. I like to start the new year fresh and clean with low point balances. This is also from a practical standpoint, as we make our yearly budget in January. I’m really antsy to see how cashing out all these slow burning apps affects my Disney fund. We’re about 8 months our from our 2018 trip, and I have a sneaky suspicion that I am ahead of saving schedule. If that is the case, one of two things is on the horizon for me: trying out a different hotel or attending the Happily Ever After Dessert Party. Have I told ya’ll how much I really want to do the Happily Ever After Dessert Party?
Let’s see what there is to see, shall we?

Ya’ll! I knew this was going to be a good fund. Check that out, the Bs are officially out of the 2000s. That is pretty huge. Here I come, Dessert Party! How is your fund going? Remember, you’ve got those holiday gift cards and checks rolling in, and that will be a huge bump for you, too! Tell me how it’s going for you in the comments!
