Kristen D. Earns Dollars: Week 1

I missed you guys!  Ok, it’s only been two weeks since my Couponing To Somewhere earning series wrapped up, but I really have missed sharing what’s going on.  I’m honored that several of you have missed it too and have sent me some sweet Facebook messages.  Thank you for that.  Also thank you to Kristen B. who was going to “pour one out” for my fund reports.  She’s so silly, y’all.

So, I’m starting a new fund report!   We don’t have details on our trip right now, but I’ll tell you what I’m thinking.  It’s definitely going to be in 2021 or 2022 and this trip will be to Walt Disney World in Florida.  I want to add at least a pair of days on for Universal- we took Miss Bongo at 2 to meet Curious George and wouldn’t you know, he went on a long, perhaps permanent vacation about 4 days before we arrived!  I cried y’all.  George was HER MAN.  Her first love, even before Mickey.   Now she’s going to be old enough and tall enough to appreciate some of what Universal has to offer and I can’t wait.

Tim & I were also talking about doing an on property stay at Disney!  We loved it when we stayed last Christmas and after everything that’s going on right now, we want to splurge on that next trip.   I don’t know if we will do a value or a moderate, though we loved Coronado Springs.  I guess it depends on what discounts Erin can find for me, and how much prices rise between now and then.  Y’all saw how we beat the Disney Dining Plan, so I’d love to have that added on again.

I’ll come up with a more exact budget when 2021 pricing comes out- I may need to make serious changes to my plan or else choose 2022 because, as we’ve talked about before, earnings  are significantly down right now.  Still, everyday I’m hustlin’.  No one shoots for the clouds- you shoot for the moon, baby.   My goal is NOT to use any stimulus money on this trip- I want to earn it all!  We’ll see what happens.

I got into a high dollar healthcare panel.  You’d better believe I squealed not only when I got in, but also when it paid out! I definitely was expecting it to take a while.   Lots of little cash outs to round out the earnings this week too.
